I wonder how many more photo-ops we'll get with Alyssa in Minnie's chair before they start demolishing Toontown.
Hopefully they'll still have a free-standing Dumbo, too, since Noah is only going into his second milestone picture in November.
And, this seems like as good an opportunity as ever to tell you that we'll be looking for a 4th milestone photo spot soon. I'm 14 weeks pregnant!![]()
This is the photo I used to "break the news" to many family members a couple days ago.

Wow
I didn't see that one coming. I am so happy for you. What do the kids think?

I hope the little one makes an appearance soon. I'm sure that you're going nuts with anticipation, I know that I would be.
) We went to the room and got into our swimsuits and headed to the indoor waterpark. It was tiny as waterparks go, but there were enough things to keep the boys busy. They really liked the Boogie Bear which is a surfing/boogie board simulator. By the end of the weekend they were good at it. We left the waterpark around 11 am, changed and went to Johnny Rockets for lunch. The restaurant is located inside the hotel and it was a fun atmosphere for kids. Just basic burgers, etc which is exactly what the boys like. From there we took Chris down to the car show even though he wasn't sure he wanted to trudge through the rain. The boys and I went back to thhe hotel room to wait for the rain to stop. Thankfully it did stop just a few minutes back. We decided to go to the great escape. The park really hasn't changed much since Six Flags bought it and our initial thought was that it needed a face lift. Mind you everything was went and many of the shows had ended for the summer so the venues were not being kept up. We only stayed about 1 1/2 hours as Chris called for us to pick him up. We were feeling disappointed in the park. We went and got Chris which meant about an hour in heavy traffic again to go the 5 or so miles to where he was and back. The boys were itching to get back to the waterpark so we changed again and went down for a few hours. By then they were getting quite good at the boogie Bear. Colby was a bit timid, but they helped him start at the bottom and he managed to stay on for a little while. Nick and Hunter could stay on for minutes at a time and they were able to get up onto their knees. Chris and I gave it a shot here and there. Chris could get onto his knees and I managed once. I only had one swimsuit with me and it wasn't cooperating with the force of the water
When the kids were sufficiently water logged we went back and changed for dinner. I wanted to go out into town for dinner, but the boys really wanted Johnny Rockets again. I figured I'd eat light and have dessert so it didn't really matter. The kids did well eating their entire meals, but the portions were big enough the no one wanted dessert after all. We ended up back in the room for the night. We were up around 7 and tried to pack a bit as checkout was 11 and we just had to hit the waterpark again before checkout. The Great Escape didn't open until Noon so we had time to kill anyway. We hit Johnny rockets yet again for breakfast. We learned that our boys do not eat enough to warrant sit down breakfasts so we'll file that for next summer. After breakfast we were pleasantly surprised to see that the waterpark was already open. We rushed back and changed into our swimsuit (the males did, I just grabbed the camera as the kids just had to have photos
) They did all the rides again and once the boogie bear opened they spent 45 minutes doing that. They were so happy and did not want to leave, but at this point we had 10 minutes before check out. Needless to say we didn't depart our room until about 1/2 hour late. We still made it to rope drop at the great escape. We decided to go left as we went into the park so we hit entirely different areas from the day before and we were pleased to see that the park was much nicer than our impression from the day before. The plan was to leave arount 4 pm to head home, but the weather was nice and there were no lines to speak of so we let the kids set the pace. We did everything that they wanted and even let them hit the wet rides just before we left (knowing they could change in the car). It was 6:30 before we left the park and 9 PM before we got home. Needless to say we were all exhausted and that holds true for when my alarm went off at 4 am today

I hope they catch her killer soon. Her poor family.

After work this morning I'll bring Hunter's snacks to the school nurse and hopefullly we can come up with a plan for him. My fingers are crossed that today is a much better day than yesterday.
