It could be the speakers are going bad. Are they built into the monitor, or are they removable? Do you have another set of speakers in the house you could attach to the computer to see if they have the same problem.

Also a cell phone, wireless phone, or even wireless network can cause interference in speakers.

Good luck figuring out the issue.

They are removable but I don't have another set to test with.
It's not my cell phone - that makes a different noise when it is too lcose to the computer.

This is something other than the speakers, I think, because audio stuff isn't buffering properly - it is stuttering and cutting out. That happens on You Tube, iTunes, and with music I have ripped from CDs. No audio files will play normally.

We had a nice day today. I took all of the kids to church since Kristi and Chris were running the All-Star Charity 5k this morning. This afternoon Terra and I went with a friend to the All-Star Game Fan Fest. It was pretty cool. There was a ton of memorabilia, activities and autograph sessions going on. They had a neat display on the Negro Leagues which I really enjoyed. My personal favorite was happening to be in the right place at the right time when they were interviewing 4 women that played on the women's league during World War II.

Now I'm just uploading pictures (since I realized I hadn't done so since about March, eek!) and getting pictures sorted out on my computer.

Well, I guess Dad wants to install the new router he got this weekend (please don't let him mess up anything on my computer, please don't let him mess up anything on my computer), so I guess I had better get off of here. Since it's 11, I guess I could also head to bed. Finally get to sleep in tomorrow morning (knock on wood!!!) so that will be nice.

I don't know. If it is, we will have to take the computer in to be serviced and THAT will be a big pain in the tushy. So for now I am not going to do anything. We don't do a ton of audio stuff on this computer so leaving it until after WDW is OK.

Debbie - Aubrey is just precious! And she looks so much like her big brother!

Elizabeth & Janet - sorry you are having computer problems... Elizabeth: maybe take it into the shop just before you leave on vacation. Janet: I had issues with Java a few months ago too. I think I finally resolved it by going to their website and finding out that my old Java was not completely uninstalled. There were directions on the Java site under tech support or something. Good luck.

Tammi - I am sorry your week of vacation had to come to an end too.

Becky - hoping for no more car problems for you. I will say that if they continue you might want to consider returning the car and looking for another one from a different dealer. I believe you are permitted to do that with no hassle or penalty within the first 30 days. I have no idea why I have that information in my head, but I would be concerned.

Janet - I am glad Garrett is having fun. I know you are missing him though.
