Does anyone know about the gift card deal Disney has going? (buy a $500 card for $395) I did read the thread on the Theme Park board but I'd like to know more specifics. Disney has 2 emails for me and at least 1 for John, we have never gotten a pin, but I am betting now that we are DVC owners we will never see one?

Heidi - I read the thread about the gift card. You definitely need a PIN to be able to buy one and it sounds like it has WAAAYYYY too many restrictions to be very useful. I can't imagine how many trips it would take for me to spend $500 on merchandise ONLY. I buy a few things each trip, but not $500 worth. As it is I am wondering how I will use the birthday gift card since it has the same restrictions. But trying to spend $75 will be much easier than trying to spend $500.

I've been up since 2 AM with Colby. His feet were bothering him and since Chris is out of town, I was the only option Now I'm exhausted, but must go to work

You don't remember because this is the first time I've mentioned it!!! Thankfully, it's not serious. Let's just say that having kids has wreaked havoc on me.

Elin - your day sounds delightful, but unfortunately I can't get the slideshow to open. How was their viognier?

Have you been to the F'burg Pub, behind the mall, yet? We went to day and it was quite lovely. I'm sure it's good competition for the CAH. I had a flight of wine, 3 2oz samples, with my meal. I didn't realize they also had a sampler of beers, 4 5oz for $6.50, or I would have gotten that. They have happy hour Mon-Thurs, 4-7.

Also, we had discussed going to the new F'burg Pub the same day you did, but opted to stay home instead. I have heard nothing but good things about it and your review clinched it. We will try it out soon!

Can you believe that the expected high for today is only 70 degrees? 18 degrees lower than the average. It was in the low 50s this morning. Where is summer?
