Well, here is our submission. I hope I was one of the first 100 entries to even qualify for the contest.

Adorable! I hope you were one of the first 100!! :goodvibes

ETA: As long as they accepted your submission you are apparently one of the first, at least according to the rules on their website!

Tammi....

Cute poster Tammi! I hope you win :)

I could not make it up to watch a band that doesn't start til 11 pm....I am soooo tired. Why am I tired....well, my neighbor's 25 year old daughter had a backyard party and kept us up til 3:30 am.....the crowning moment was when I looked out the window and saw two guys taking a leak onto my back yard sidewalk. :scared1::scared1::scared1: Needless to say....I am NOT happy

Let me just say that I canNOT even remember the last time I heard the phrase "last call for alcohol."

:rotfl2:

I have heard that ONCE in my lifetime. And it was last week in Lynchburg at the hotel. At 10:00. :lmao:

I am so glad you all were busy yesterday and kept the posting down to a minimum. I figured since it had been over 24 hours since I stopped in I would be here a while catching up. I am delighted to find that it is not. :teeth:

The recitals yesterday were awesome in every true sense of the word. As I sat there listening to five bright, erudite, talented 18 year olds I kept remembering them when they were 4 years old and scared to death of what was going to happen to them in class that very first day. I must have the best two jobs in the world. Motherhodd ranks up at the very tip top of the pile, but yesterday sure made me happy I chose this second career 17 years ago. :goodvibes

Good morning, DDA!

Elin, I am glad the recitals went well! :goodvibes

It's May 31! You all know that that means!! Tonight is "Rabbit, rabbit"!!

:wave2: Hi, Elizabeth. Can you believe tomorrow is June?!?!?

I know! 3 more days of school for DS!
Then Band camp, where he has to be on the bus at 7:30 AM. :sad2: That's WORSE than getting up for school!! :headache: We will have to be at the high school by about 7:25 AM. Blah! Good thing it is only a week long camp.

I have never liked that things like band need to be done early in the morning. I realize that it is a "heat" issue but why not do it in the evening? It cools off then too. :confused3 And this is from a morning person. Teenagers are not at their best early in the morning.

Oh, they aren't marching. This is an INDOOR camp! :rotfl2:
The camp is being held at a high school in the 'hood, so they have to allow time to transport the kids. DS will be picked up at our high school, and dropped off there in the afternoon. Camp doesn't start until 9 AM, but I have to be at work by 8 AM so the bus actually works better than me trying to drive him. During the school year we leave our house about 7:45, but we'll have to leave no later than 7:20 for the week of camp. :scared:

I stumbled on some cute graphics this morning
