Janet - I hope you are feeling better.

Vicki - Good luck getting organized!

Elizabeth - Those are some great pictures! He is becoming quite the photographer.

thanks for the dittoable!!

Thought I would share some pics DH posted on the photo forum. :)

Elizabeth, Dh is getting much better :thumbsup2 I guess the new camera was a necessity ;)

Vicki  Doing projects together is usually stressful. I'm sure that he hates to see you go tomorrow so that adds to the stress. Kiss, makeup and enjoy the rest of your time together.

Chris and I hit a few more projects around here today. I also managed to get the shopping done. I've put some things in the camper so if we decide to go this weekend it won't be too hard to pack. I've also cooked most of the meals for this week. Maybe now we will find time to eat them. I'm really hoping that life will actually slow down after this week. Lacrosse ends on Wednesday and my schedule at the pool will cut back to 9 am - noon after Friday :cool1: The kids will still have a week and a half of school, but I have so many things to get done before then.

I would love to be looking at this today:

I would have gotten up to this and Chuckie would be enjoying his second day by the pool.

Hi I hope you are all doing well. I am just stopping in to say hi. My allergies are still in full gear which has me exhausted. I can not believe tomorrow it is back to work. I will probably also be heading to the doctors.

I hope that you are all doing well and had good weekends.

Here! Over here! :yay:
Temps in the 90's.

OMG -- yes it is! We've been in Waco (1 1/2 hours from our house) this weekend sitting out in the heat, with little wind. I'm wilted...

Good morning :)

I woke up not feeling the best this morning, so I went back to sleep. I still have a little bit of a headache & my stomach is still cramping some. But I must get to work, I should have been there 3 hours ago.

Have a good day all!

I hope you are feeling better.

Thought I would share some pics DH posted on the photo forum. :)

Those are very good! We took our camera this weekend and never even took a picture...

You are. Only it's a picture, not RL. ;)

Somehow it is not quite the same, you know? No smell, no sound... :confused3

Today's recital was really good too. I will post pictures when I get my card back from my boss. Her camera's batteries ran out so I just gave her mine to use and then let her take the card to have them developed.

They are REALLY good, Elizabeth. Please let J I said so! you don't have to let him know that I think the new cameras might have been a good purchase... :rolleyes1

When I got home this afternoon I wanted to spend some time outside working in my garden and grilling dinner. So I marinated a flank steak, made some linguini to serve cold with fresh herbs and a vinaigrette and headed out to work here:

Becky-I hope you feel better fast!!

Elin-wonderful flowers....we had packets on the grill. It tasted yummy. :goodvibes

Elin your garden is beautiful. I sure wish that I had a green thumb or at least the time to play around with a garden. Maybe someday.

I'm going to put my meat pies in the freezer and head to bed. I accomplished a lot this weekend and I'm pretty tired now. Maybe I'll get an extra hour of sleep.

Thanks, you two! :goodvibes

Deb - I have two words for you: container gardening

Once they are planted they do not require a lot of work to keep them looking nice. And they can be moved around to where you need a bright spot of color. It is the only way I have time for a "garden" and I am delighted that it has worked for me for about 6 years now.

I am headed to bed..i got up entirely too early for a sunday and im exhausted...This is my last full week of full days! I start half days next Thursday--the countdown is on!!Goodnight and "see" you in June!!

Thank you for all of the nice comments on DH's photos. :)

I actually don't know which camera he used to take those. I should probably just be thankful he hasn't gotten bored with photography yet.

Janet & Becky - I hope you are both feeling better soon!!

Elin - Your flowers are so pretty!

DH attempted to grill chops, but we have no propane. So he cooked them on the stove instead.

Marci - Hmm. Waco. Glad you are back home now! :rotfl:

I spent some time outdoors today too. I hosed off my screened porch, the picnic table and chair cushions. Then I scrubbed down the vinyl siding out back. After everything was dry, I poured myself a glass of wine and sat out there reading. I had the ceiling fan blowing on me to keep the air moving. Then after the sun started to set in the evening I finished mowing the lawn. When the kids got home we went for an evening walk around the subdivision. I hate to see the weekend end. :(

I got an email from the radio station saying that we are "officially in the running"! The photos will be posted at 3:00 tomorrow.

I've discovered that BenGay is equivalent to catnip. I put some on my forearms and my cats are rubbing their heads all over my arms.
