So my texas people--i know NOTHING about the area we will be in. We are going to be staying a few extra days hopefully, so im looking for some stuff to do in the area. We were thinking about six flags, since we know the hotel will be relatively close to it. Any other suggestions?

Sorry, Jen, none of us know Arlington very well. There are a lot of things to see and do in Dallas and in Ft. Worth - just depends on what you are interested in.

I'm not sure where my day went, but it seems to be gone. We left here at 9 AM for the lacrosse game. We lost, but Nick played an outstanding game on Defense. He played crease the entire game, with no breaks. Mind you the entire game was defense for us, I think offense maybe had the ball a total of 2 minutes the entire game. His coach and his Daddy were both very very proud of him From there we went to the mall, it used to be a nice mall, but at least 1/2 the store have closed. We couldn't believe that the only food options were sbarros or chinese. We ended up picking up some hot foods from Hannaford grocery and had a tailgate picnic before heading home. We got home around 3:45. My brother and Dad had finished splitting the wood and there was plenty left to pile. I spent a couple of hours piling that while Nick finished the lawn and Chris worked on the van. Came in and took a bath as I was covered in dirt and wood chips, and now I can possibly relax, possibly.

Oh, I got a note from Hunter's teacher and she is concerned that he doesn't eat at lunch. Um, we know that, he barely eats, but that isn't new If his doctor isn't concerned then I don't think she needs to be.

How do you camp indoors??

It was outdoors, I slept in a tent all weekend. There are indoor buildings as well. It only really rained Friday night into Saturday. It may have sprinkled some during the day Saturday. I was out almost all day Saturday and did not feel it. Then it rained my whole way home.

I stopped at the place on my way home where I was supposed to have my recruitment table today. It was pouring, there were like 4 people there as it was outdoors. I said the heck with it and came home.

I took a shower and a nap. I am now online.

I could head next door to the birthday party, but I probably will not. I am enjoying the peace and quiet.

Hey guys, i have a design request--i can post it on the main board, but thought i would try here first.

For my brother's birthday, i bought him a ticket to the rascal flatts concert --for his birthday, i wanted to wrap up a couple of CDs and have an "invitation" or "admit ticket" or something.
I have no ideas but if it could say something like..
Admit one to the Rascal Flatts concert on Saturday September 12, 2009
If there is somewhere to put that he is going "with Jen and Frankie"--that would be great so he knows who is going!

Does that make any sense?

We watched the Amazing Race. I'm happy with the final three this year. We have a favorite, but I don't want to give anything away. Next week is a must watch. Of course we are planning on going to Six Flags so we'll need to head home early cause we simply can't miss it (not to mention that Colby needs to be in bed at 8)
