Good morning, DDA!

Things aren't quite as bad I had envisioned! We've had some tears and whining but, overall, Em's been a trooper. I am hoping that by lunchtime she will be able to eat something.

Eric is volunteering to set up for a pancake b'fast this morning for the BS troop. He should be home soon to grab Mo and Lu to take them.

Tonight is the viewing and memorial service for the custodian at Em's school. Eric, Em and I will go. Just got to find someone to watch the other 2.

Not much else on tap.

We are up and running. We headed to an out of town game this morning. We might even get to a mall (don't tell chris)

Heidi - Congrats on the new ticker, it looks like we may cross paths, we'll be at AKL 11/7/09 - 11/15/09.

I spent most of the day working in the yard yesterday and my breathing is showing it this morning, I never used to have a problem but now I try and mow the yard and I get all congested and start sneezing, guess it comes with age.

I know! Ive been catching up on all of this since I got home--I saw a video of the collapse and its amazing no one was seriously hurt

Last night they said one broken back and one impalement. One went to Parkland, which is the big trauma hospital and NOT close to Valley Ranch. Who gets in a tent in 70 MPH winds? I am glad it wasn't worse!

I just heard about the broken back this morning--i beleive it was one of the coaches..Scary stuff!

Good morning everyone! I have NOTHING that i have to do today so im pretty happy about that...I think im going to start calling around to some hotels in Arlington to get prices and distance to the new stadium. My friend from the crusie and I may be flying down to see the first preseason game in the new stadium so now we need to find a hotel!

So we've decided to leave a day earlier and stay part way instead of traveling all day on the 23rd. I'll have to work a half day that morning but I've done it before.

I want to wait until that day and show up at Brandon's, mention that we're going to Disney and ask if anyone wants to go with us, when he says he does then I'll say, OK let's go. DH wants to tell him before then, naturally I like my idea better . . . .

We just booked the room and airline yesterday so we don't have any plans yet either, just thinking about the Christmas party. John is for meeting people too, of course he is very type A personality.

The only advice I have today is to not be picky with ADRs. My knickers are in a knot about breakfast on my birthday. I am 99% sure we will NOT be able to get 8:05 AM at Crystal Palace, which means I have no idea what we will do. Counter Service bagels, perhaps? The way the new ADR system does split stays sucks. Really, really sucks. So there you have it.

Speaking of CS, there isn't a CS place at Kidani. We like to grab breakfast at Mara, but since Kidani and Jambo are about a half mile apart it will be a pain to go to Jambo just to get CS food. And no concierge in Kidani, so no lounge. I prefer to feel like I am in a hotel as opposed to feeling like I am "home", so while we will go LOOK at Kidani I doubt we will stay there.
