Good morning, DDA!

Well I took my mother & my MIL home last night...what a week! If there was ever a doubt in my mind leaving my mother this week sure fixed that! We are just 2 totally different people with VERY different sets of priorities..mine being my kids, their safety, their future, & providing all I can for them...hers was nothing like that. I felt like I had to be on a soapbox all week about what its like to care for children. Went right over her head. As long as she & my father had what they needed things were cool. They had their own life & there was no room for me in that life.(which is fine) so I do not & should not be made to feel guilty that I am moving or be expected to pop back to NY for every minor holiday & occurance so SHE won't be alone.

Anne Marie - ! Sounds like you need a bunch of those! I'm sorry that things with your mom were a bit yucky! Sounds like me and my MIL. We're getting along better, but she still thinks that she should be our number one priority! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Your move is the best thing for your family, and I'm glad that you are not going to allow her to guilt you!

Just letting y'all know that I'll be offline today and maybe tomorrow. My computer is acting wonky, so I'm having it looked at. Hopefully, it won't take too long to fix it!

In the meantime I'm going to the "buy one, get one free" book sale at the kid's school. Hopefully I'll be able to get the summer reading taken care of!

I'm sorry your parents make you feel that way, Anne Marie. I'm glad you've come to terms with it though. For what it's worth, I think your priorities are right on track.

Elizabeth - clarify this split stay ADR bull for me. I'm doing 2 nights at BLT, so at my 90 day mark I can only make those 2 ADRs? Then at the 90 day mark from my BCV date I call to make the rest? I can't believe they can't link them as one ressie. Ridiculous.

Families kind of suck sometimes. Don't let anyone make you feel guilty!

Yes. Actually, you can PROBABLY make your front 3 nights at the 90 day mark from BLT. Say you check in 8/1 and out 8/3, I imagine you can make your 8/3 dinner ADRs on the BLT ressie number. That's what IPO did with my Crystal Palace ADR yesterday. Then you will have to call back at the 90 day mark from your BCV check in to do the rest. Good luck!!!
