Time has flown this morning!! I've got to head out the door for that resume workshop.

Where did everyone go? I've been working on housework, though very slowly. Hunter got invited to a friend's house and the other 2 have gone out to ride the 4 wheeler. We're heading out around 4 to return dvds and pick up pizza before lacrosse practice. The men in the house are getting haircuts this evening too.

It is another gorgeous day here.

Kristin had lunch at 1:15 this afternoon so I picked her up at work and we went to a park downtown. We just sat in the sun and talked for about 20 minutes. It was delightful!Bob left to visit his Dad in PA this weekend so we have the whole weekend as just girls. We are looking forward to that, although she has to work tomorrow morning and I have to work Sunday morning.

oh my heavens....my baby is so scatterbrained today....she just ran back into the house. She forgot her flute

It will be an anxious weekend in our house until we find out (though because we are going over to the band director's house for pictures tomorrow maybe we will get early notification)

It is beautiful here and tomorrow it's supposed to be cold and rainy...better than the snow last weekend's prom goers had to tromp through!!

That's one of the things I liked. There was something 2 for the price of 1 and she got 2 for me and gave me the 2nd one rather than keeping it for herself. She didn't have to do that. They looked for the deals for us and passed them on. Very good customer service!!!

I'm a pepsiholic and Disney and close-by businesses do NOT have Pepsi. There are people that even went to the gas stations that you can walk to from the Boardwalk. No pepsi!!!!

The Pirates League

coming late June, 2009 to Magic Kingdom

You can celebrate your Inner Pirate!

The Pirates League will allow boys and girls to transform themselves into Pirates and allow their dreams to come true as they join Captain Jack Sparrow's crew. Participants will have a pirate identity, be transformed into a pirate by a WDW Pirate Master, and have access to a secret treasure room. They will be able to unlock clues to additional pirate encounters in Magic Kingdom.

The Ostrich
A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him.
The waitress asks them for their orders.

The man says, 'A hamburger, fries and a coke,' and turns to
the ostrich, 'What's yours?'

'I'll have the same,' says the ostrich.

A short time later the waitress returns with the order 'That will
be $9.40 please,' and the man reaches into his pocket and
pulls out the exact change for payment.

The next day, the man and the ostrich come again and the man
says, 'A hamburger, fries and a coke.'
The ostrich says, 'I'll have the same.'
Again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change.
This becomes routine until the two enter again. 'The usual?'
asks the waitress.

'No, this is Friday night, so I will have a steak, baked potato and
a salad,' says the man.

'Same,' says the ostrich.

Shortly the waitress brings the order and says, 'That will be $32.62.'

Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and
places it on the table.

The waitress cannot hold back her curiosity any longer. 'Excuse me,
sir. How do you manage to always come up with the exact change
in your pocket every time?'

'Well,' says the man, 'several years ago I was cleaning the attic and
found an old lamp. When I rubbed it, a Genie appeared and offered
me two wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything,
I would just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money
would always be there.'

'That's brilliant!' says the waitress. 'Most people would ask for a
million dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want
for as long as you live!'

'That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact
money is always there,' says the man.

The waitress asks, 'What's with the ostrich?'

The man sighs, pauses and answers, 'My second wish was for a tall chick
with a big butt and long legs who agrees with everything I say.'

Good evening, DDA!

I've only been eating better and doing minimal exercise for a week and a half, and I can't tell you how much better I feel. It's not perfect. I was a total witch yesterday. Overall, though, I feel so much better. I wouldn't call myself energetic, but not lethargic either. Cooking dinner time used to be such a chore to actually stay awake and upright. The last couple of nights I've actually enjoyed making dinner again. Maybe it's coincidence and just part of my normal up/down cycle, but I'm enjoying it.

im with you on the witchy mood tonight..ive been sitting in my room since i got home--just not in the mood to do aything or talk to anyone at home haha

I hope your mood has passed. I really don't know what brought mine on yesterday, but taking a walk with dh did help. I feel much less witchy today.

I wouldn't do anything that had to be confirmed with a credit card, like CRT, in case of travel/flight delays. Then you are stuck and can't get a refund.

Kristine, the shirts are terrific! Is that the Yudu machine that I mentioned a couple of weeks ago? How much do you estimate it costs for ink/screens to do a one color shirt?

I'm off for the weekend The week from you know where has finally ended. I even had a good night at the restaurant. I am super excited that the weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend. Tomorrow is expected to be near 70, 80's by Saturday and near 90 on sunday. This will certainly boost our spirits.
