Congrats, Heidi. When is your first trip HOME going to be?

Why doesn't my dog understand that Saturdays are made for sleeping in?

Yes....the YUDU

I know Deb asked about the price of the machine.....I think it's running around $199....a little less on ebay

As far as the cost of supplies....

they are not cheap...and there is somewhat of a steep learning curve.

BUT with perseverance and a helluva lot of alcohol I am getting better. Today I ran 4 shirts and had no issues (I will post some pics tomorrow)

BUT #2.....I have come across a forum of screen printers who have shown me the light:idea: and now I have ordered supplies at a fraction of the cost. The machine of course tells you to use only YUDU products...and of course they are WAY expensive...so let's hope these work out. I will give you an idea of cost once the stuff comes in.

Glad you asked, huh? :rotfl2:

I would love to hear more about it. I am definitely interested in getting one. I just placed an order for custom sweatshirts for us to wear to Lacrosse and it was $278 for 5 sweatshirts and 2 t-shirts :scared1: It would be nice to be able to make them here and I think it would be cheaper than that.

Good Morning DDA!

We had a good time at the farm and the caverns yesterday.
The hardest part was keeping little hands from touching anything. Of course the guides were constantly reminding them.;)

The kids got to ride horses, take a hay ride (which by the way was a mess with the winds that we had yesterday), and pet some animals.

It was a full day, but we had fun.

I was beyond tired last night, so we hit the hay early, and I still feel like I missed a day of sleep!

Off to get ready. Leighanna wants to go bike riding, so I better get the tires filled with air, and see if I can still ride.

Have a great day!

Why doesn't my youngest son understand that
I had to wake Alyssa up at 9, so we could get ready to head to the soccer game. But she was thrilled to be up because today is her birthday party!

Off to soccer and the party. Have a great day! :lovestruc :thumbsup2 (smilies courtesy of Alyssa and Nicholas)

Mowing the lawn. Not as much fun as last week.:rolleyes1

Good Morning,

It's been a hectic week here, I'm definitely ready for a little down time, too bad I have lots of things I need to get done.

Tammi - Nicholas looks great in his glasses

Chanon - Congratulations! Boy or girl the baby looks great!

Lindsay - Good to see you, we need to chat about meeting up on our trips, we'll have Brandon with us, so you'll be the first to meet the little boy I chat so much about. It takes him a little while to warm up to people he doesn't know, but when he gets started he talks none stop.

Anne Marie - Love the kitchen

Heidi - Congrats on DVC

Kristine - Love the shirts, did you hand color the second one?

Elizabeth - I hope this new doctor can help DS, school can be so tough on kids sometimes.

Theresa - Best wishes for Cassidy :wizard:

I got a phone call from the doctor's office this week about my last bloodwork, unfortunately it's never good news when they call. So I've added a tenth medication to my daily routine.

I did some shopping for Brandon yesterday and stocked hiim up on shorts for the trip, now I need to have him try them on, that's not going to be fun, he hates clothes.

I just looked at the weather forcast. It is supposed to get to 85 today, but instead of near 90 tomorrow it is only predicted at 74 :sad2: Monday and Tuesday are back in the 80s, but with showers. I guess we need to make the most of today.

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

I need to do this too but I have to go get gas first.

Wow Deb, I'm sorry about the 10th med. I was hoping that with your exercise you'd be able to get rid of some meds. Of course the stress that you've had at work with the layoff situation can't be helping

Thanks Deb, I've been good about going to the gym the past two weeks. The new gym has Expresso bikes and they are actually kind of fun, I like the game, it makes pedaling much more interesting. They also have an ab solo machine, when I first started using it I was in pain that night and the next day, I figure that means it actually works. :rotfl:

I havet o take this new med for three months and have the tests redone, then we'll decide where to go from there, so we'll see.

Deb...I will keep you posted....I want to try a couple of more today.

Interestingly, these guys in the screen printing forum say a better product for beginners is by Speedball. It's 1/2 the price. It does not have all the bells and whistles...i.e the light & fan.....but since you are so handy.....
I don't see this as an obstacle as I am sure you could rig up something.

I would love to hear more about it. I am definitely interested in getting one. Debbie....yes I found the nicest fabric markers. Very durable

I think I just got schemed. I clicked on the add at the bottom of this forum for the Do Not Fly until you read this. Anyway it sounded like a lot of valuable info and the price wasn't too bad. I expected to receive a bunch of books, but what I received was a username and password to a website. From there you are supposed to download the files onto your computer, unzip them and read or print from there. Of course the files are either corrupted or invalid so I can't read a thing. Thankfully I used paypal so I have disputed the purchase. We'll see where it goes from there.
