It's good to hear that some of you are scheduling in some "me" time. I think we all crave that though it can be so hard to find the time.
I have read everything, but I feel pulled in a dozen different directions. We no longer have a computer at work as some people couldn't pull themselves away long enough to "work". Apparently the powers that be are finally figuring out that things are not running smoothly so "it is about to hit the fan". I've already been told that I have nothing to worry about and I don't even have to attend the inservice (which they are so conveniently holding from 7 - 9 PM on Sunday and again from 8 - 10 PM on Monday) Since I only agreed to morning and I work a second job evenings as well as taking care of my family they feel it will be okay to watch a video of the inservice laterI have tossed around going to one of them, but 1) if I can be available one night they will most certainly expect more and 2) I don't think I can bite my tongue over everything. If I'm not there I can't say anything that would get me in trouble
Hunter is still complaining of tummy aches and he absolutely HATES school (I suspect that may be causing the tummy aches, but he insists that isn't the case). So in order for him to do his homework I need to sit with him and redirect him constantly. That has really cut into my laundry/housework/computer time and last night it cut into my bed time. This too shall pass, but I must be vigilant. On the bright side I am nearly functioning at 100%, Colby is right up there with me and Hunter just has the tummy ache. Chris is complaining less, but that could be because I told him he needs to see a doctor
The boys bowl in the state bowling tournament this weekend so we have a hotel booked for Saturday night, hopefully all will be well and we will have a nice getaway.
Could Hunter's tummy ache and "hate" of school be because he's so behind from missing so much, or is there a deeper issue? Is Hunter the one who's been having problems with a teacher? I hate to hear of a student not enjoying school at this level. With so much more school in front of him, it would be good to get to the root of the matter, now! I'm so glad you and Chris are on top of things!
