GOOD MORNING, DDA!

Glad to hear all is well & so happy to see your good morning :goodvibes

Janet....you & Gary have been on my mind (Bill's too) often I read along and answer in my mind :rotfl:but not on the thread.

I haven't been in the posting mood myself...

Anyway...I am sending you as many positive vibes as I can. HANG IN THERE!!

Thanks Kristine, this having to wait is so hard.

Hopefully once warmer weather hits, everyone's moods will be better :)

Anyone have plans for Easter? We are hoping to have family over & cook out if the weather cooperates. If not family will still come over & we will figure something else out.

Good Morning all!!

It seems a few of us haven't had the will, desire or time to post...no wonder our posting sprees have been few and far between.:hug:

I went and enjoyed the cooking class (and won the grocery bag....didn't have much in it, but stuff I needed). He did meatballs, spaghetti sauce, bruschetta. Laurel did a lady finger tiramasu dipper which was scrumptious.

The meatballs were :confused3, the spaghetti sauce was great...but he didn't let the wine simmer off enough (I also think he added too much to begin with:rotfl2:) but I think I will try it at home.

The bruschetta topping was fabulous!! I decided to change it up a bit to see if it would work as a tomato mozzerella salad.

I then came home to watch the finale of ER....it was great:goodvibes

I have been reading but not posting much either. I am so close to a milestone, but I will post more this weekend. :goodvibes

ER was really good. I loved how they ended with the same words they started the show way back fifteen years ago with. "Dr Green, Dr Green, are you coming??"

It is really raining here right now. Possible thunderstorms this afternoon. I might have to paddle home!!!!:lmao:

Bernadette - I hope you are feeling better! May will be here before you know it! ;)
Thanks! I'm feeling better but still really tired. Hope I have more energy this weekend as I have a ton of stuff I'd like to get done.

Dad is doing alright but his blood pressure has been low. Tomorrow he goes to the doctor and they are supposed to remove staples.
:wizard:Hope your Dad is continuing to improve.

Bernadette- Feel better, you go to WDW next month!:goodvibes
Thanks! One month from yesterday! I bought Joe the Guide to the Magic for Kids book. It is really a great book (but pricey at $29.95). It is a guidebook/journal in one. Each attraction is described and gives a space for the child to comment on it and rate it. Then there are pages for everyday for a journal. Joe is SOOOOO excited about it. He said "this is going to be my best trip ever!" but then quickly added "all the others have been great too!":love:

Back on WW's. I have not been watching what I eat (well I do watch it as it goes in my mouth!:lmao:) I have let my issues with the move & other things get the better of me.

Anyway I am back on track. No loss to report yet, I am back to square one (my weight in Jan) so that is frustrating but that is my motivation to stay on plan so I am not looking back 3 more month from now saying the same thing.
:wizard:Good luck! I've been doing pretty good-no trips to Dunkin Donuts since I bought my new coffee maker. I was doing really well bringing my lunch to work but have slipped a bit on that the past few days. I did well making good choices at the caffeteria except for today. As my WW coach used to always say-"get back on track with the next meal".

Had my WW's meeting last night and I was down 3.8lbs this week. I have hit the 180's and a total of 36lbs lost. That has done a lot of for my mood!

Emma has a field trip today to the Baltimore Museum of Industry. They will be learning about life in an oyster cannery, should be interesting!

Tonight is Scouts, which is going to be crazy busy. I received a phone call from the pastor of the church where we meet. He was telling me that the teachers have been complaining that we are leaving the classrooms a mess, 1) We use 1 classroom and 2) we are meticulous about cleaning up after ourselves. A few weeks ago, the teacher whose classroom we use came in and was not pleased we were there. I knew it was coming but I am still upset that we get the bad rap. The pastor, who creeps me out by the way, was very nice about it and has offered to move us to the church side. I get that he is in the middle and that's not a place anyone wants to be, so instead of arguing with him I just politely said we would move where ever we need too. So along with getting relocated we have 4 activities that I need to fit in tonight, which will be interesting trying to keep them moving fast enough for.
WOW! Congratulations! That is great!

Hope Girlscouts went well.

I got $54 OW fares to and from Baltimore for the dates we originally had booked! :yay:
:woohoo:That is great!

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts for dad. He called again a little while ago. They had just boarded their cruise ship, and he was feeling much better. I told him to have the other tour organizer take over for a while, and for dad to just relax on the cruise. He seems to be taking my advice. He was sitting in the lounge with a milkshake, and his book. Sounds like a good day to me!

Of course, the reason he is feeling much better is some pretty fabulous news! My baby brother and his wife just found out they are expecting their first baby in the Fall. They called dad in Paris to let him know. Nothing like the news of your 13th grandbaby to make you feel happier!
:hug:Continued prayers for your Dad. Congrats to your DB & DSIL!

Me, too. I hesitate to mention it, because I have been so bad at staying on track lately. I really need to work at this now and make it as much a priority as I can. Good luck to you!!!
:wizard:You can do it!

I'm still not convinced that Terra's not coming down with something, but can't figure it out yet. She had a rough morning at MOPS with several issues and bouts of tears, which is unusual there. Then, she fell asleep on the way home, which wasn't terrible out of character after an afternoon of playing, but has become less frequent. However, when we got home she laid on the stairs saying she was too tired to take her own shoes off. Then, she asked to watch a movie laying in bed because he was tired and cold. She's been just hanging up here ever since. Guess we'll keep playing the wait and see game.
:wizard:Hope she's feeling OK. Sounds a lot like Emma though. She came home from school one day and fell asleep on the couch. She woke up crying which she nevers does. I told her I was sorry she wasn't feeling well and she insisted she wasn't sick-she just got cold when she walked. She had the chills because she had a fever of 103. If Terra has the same thing it isn't so bad except it hangs on forever.

No. But I did call IPO today to pester them. ;) They are making all of my ADRs.

DS is feeling better. I'm glad this was a relatively short illness!
AKL IPO told me I wasn't a pest at all.:rotfl:

Glad to hear DS is feeling better!

Chuck's mom has finally admitted that she is afraid to be alone at night. We now need to work on how to help her deal with this. Katrina is on her way to be with her tonight. She is coming home from the hospital. I can't remember if I let you all know that she went back in on Sunday night.

Her lumpectomy had to be rescheduled. We also found out that she may need a pacemaker.

She told the home health nurse that she didn't want their help. She told them that she just found her husband dead in the bathroom 6 months ago and she found her father dead in the bathroom about 60 years ago. She told them she just needs to be left alone for awhile.
:hug:Your poor MIL. I hope you can find a solution that works for her.

Hi, I'm here and reading along. Things in RL regarding xh are a bit tense right now, so I'm emotionally drained and not really up to posting. I am still reading along. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.:wizard:
:hug:I'm so sorry.

That is great that you won the bag! Sounds like a fun night.

Vicki - Good thoughts for MIL. :wizard:

Tammi - Good thoughts for you! :wizard:

Janet - Hope you hear some good results soon! :wizard:

Theresa - Congrats on winning the bag! :thumbsup2

I found a few minutes to read. Life is in fast forward. I worked 45 minutes late and rushed home to try to pack for this weekend and now I need to run off to work. I was hoping for news from Janet.

Janet hope you got the results today.
