Thanks Elin! And I see your tickers...

Well, sometimes I can see one... and then other times I see both... but right now I am seeing none! :rotfl:

ETA: And with this post I see both again!

Vicki ran in both the 5K and the 1/2.

I have got to stop looking at houses.. 2 more came up in our price range that i would to take a look at...I have to stop looking!:rolleyes1

Beth,
Good luck getting that job, sounds like a great opportunity! Hope Miles is feeling better soon.

Tammi,
Shorts????????? Oh I wish!!!!!!!!;)
By the way, are you usuing last years schedule to figure out your dining? I was working on mine this weekend but am not sure about which date to do which restaurant. The only thing I have for sure is 8/14 at Cape May!

I am trying to figure out how to put this resume together. I graduated college in 1986 (with a BS completely unrelated to education or library assistant). I worked from 1986-1988 and then 1988-1991 in jobs that are completely unrelated to this new position. I guess they need to be on the resume, but should I just keep it brief (not get into responsibilities, etc), since they don't relate? Next I was volunteer treasurer and then registrar for a preschool before teaching there. Do those get listed under volunteer positions or should I just include them in my list of experience without mention that they are volunteer?

This is getting a little overwhelming, and I used to actually be intelligent.

Tammi, Shorts????????? Oh I wish!!!!!!!!;)

Unfortunately, it is short-lived. This afternoon we will have a cold front come through and then it will be quite a but cooler all week ... Mather Nature is certainly a tease this month!

ETA: But it is 71 out there right now and I think I will see if any of my patio chairs are clean enough to sit on!

Good morning DDA...I've read along all weekend when I've had a few moments.

Lindsay- I hope the morning sickness subsides soon for you. :wizard:

Glynis- Richard and his family are in my thoughts. :wizard:

Debbie- Aubrey is just so precious. :lovestruc

It sounds like everyone enjoyed their weekend!

I had the best weekend! Why, because I haven't seen my SIL since she got into town. And I imagine I'll get to avoid her completely this visit. :cool1:

Yesterday I spent the morning decorating Alyssa's cake then it was off to her party. I got in the pool with Lucy and she absolutely loved it. I can't wait for summer. We hit Target for a few things, then home to do chores. I then dropped Em off for a playdate with her friend and I went grocery shopping. Had to stock up on lots of salad stuff, way too much cake this weekend!!! Came home, ate a bit for dinner, worked on laundry before it was bath and bed time for the girls. More laundry before bed at 9:30pm. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Today is going to prove to be interesting...I will have 8 kids until 11:45 when 2 will leave for school. Then I will have the remaining 6 until pickup starts around 3:30. This will be every Monday til the end of March. :scared1: If I haven't said it before, I REALLY HATE MONDAYS!!!! And to top it off, Lucy woke up covered in dried throw up (gross, I know) She has no fever or anything other than a horrible cough, so I'm crossing my fingers it was a one time thing. And to top it off, Eric stayed home today. He is didn't sleep well. I really don't think he'll get much of chance to catch up though. That'll teach him to screw up my day!! :rolleyes1

Thanks, Anne Marie! He seems better than he did over the weekend. He has a field trip tomorrow, so I hope he can go to school then.

It is raining, raining, raining here (but at least it isn't snow!). We definitely aren't in shorts yet, but it's nice that it is in the mid-40's and not below freezing.

Well, sometimes I can see one... and then other times I see both... but right now I am seeing none! :rotfl:

That's funny. I saw none earlier and wondered where they had gone. Then both were back. Now I'm seeing only one.

Beth - I hope Miles gets to feeling better later on today. And get to work on that resume, Missy! That sounds like the perfect job for you!

Thanks! It does sound perfect. I'm trying on the resume, but I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm going to head back out and make some more notes, though.

I was just printing out TGM's best days for when we are going to be there. Our dates are Aug. 8-16, but I am using his 2008 dates of 9th-17th, since last year Saturday was on the 9th. Does that make sense?

Good morning! It's a bright day here, and my kids have no school. It's district meetings all day for the teachers, so I have to come up with something for my kids to do. I know that grocery shopping is in the plans, but other than that, I'm not sure. The kids will probably angle for McDonald's, but I don't think we'll do that. We're trying to limit our fast food spending/eating.

Thanks for all the good wishes for Richard and his family. I know they appreciate all the thoughts and prayers they are getting.

Well, guess I'll start the day with laundry. Then, menu planning. Ah, the life I lead!

Yep, thanks!

Beth,
I haven't done a resume in 14 years so I am of no help.

Glynis,
Hey we all lead that life!:rotfl:

I would love to start to figure out my best days too, but since MNSSHP is on different days of the week this year it is messing me up!

don't you know you're supposed to stop at Walmart and buy a couple of the 88 cent boxes of theater candy and smuggle them in under your coat?

we stopped and got candy......but popcorn is a must at the movies for me and I only take in stuff I can't get at concessions so two water bottles was $7.50 :scared1:

Elizabeth - I hope you can make it OK through your day with so little sleep! How is your eye this morning?

Eh, there is still one big red lump on the upper lash line. At this point I will be happy if it just goes back to normal color. The lid will be lumpy for the next year or so because I am not having them lanced and the compresses never did any good.

Beth - I hope Miles gets to feeling better later on today. And get to work on that resume, Missy! That sounds like the perfect job for you!

Good luck, Beth! I hope Miles feels better soon!:wizard:

It's like airfare. :rolleyes1

My jobs are listed apart from my volunteer stuff on my resume. Are you using a resume template? I have one in my word processor (or I used to). If you don't have one I am sure there are free ones online. They say not to list anything more than 10 years old, so if it has no bearing on the skills for the job you are applying for I would leave it off.

Unfortunately, it is short-lived. This afternoon we will have a cold front come through and then it will be quite a but cooler all week ... Mather Nature is certainly a tease this month!

It's near 70 and humid here today. We have rain and a cold front coming on Wednesday and our high will be 50.

Robyn, I hope that the day goes better than you expect!

Robyn, sorry you have such a day ahead of you! EIGHT kids? :scared: Hang in there!

We have been getting phone calls at least daily from the following phone number: (904) 259-4351. They are offering reduced credit card rates or wish to speak to us about our car warranties. We are on the Do Not Call Registry and we have asked them to stop. They hang up when you request that. I have filed a complaint with the FTC against them. Any of you having this problem too?
