Glynis, loads of prayers for Richard and his family. What a tough time for them. :grouphug:

Good thoughts for Richard's family. What a horrible time for them. :guilty:

Lindsay - The eye Dr. mentioned lancing as an option if I still had the styes after 2 weeks. Well, today is 2 weeks. I just can't see going through the pain and expense of lancing them if they are going to heal into little cysts like the last set did. The issue I am having now is the biggest one is bright red. If it was normal skin color I wouldn't care much.

I'm glad the Zofran is helping! Hopefully in the next 3 weeks or so you will be able to wean off of it.
We talked about pork tenderloin for dinner, but I think we have decided on pasta since we don't want to have the oven on.

I remember reading that the lancing was an option - either way, those sound very painful! I hope whatever route you decide to go, that they go away soon! :wizard: :wizard:

Yes, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm definitely feeling better than was the case several weeks back, but just can't quite go without it yet.

Well, our pork isn't cooperating - or I should say, our grill isn't. Hopefully we'll eat sometime in the near future!

Hey everyone, could I ask for some prayers and pixie dust for our neighbors? Richard Lohser was diagnosed with end stage pancreatic cancer in October. He was told that he wouldn't live to see the end of the year. Well, he's still around, but he's fading really quickly. He knows he's going to die and is at peace with it, but his sons and his wife are having a hard time.

It's been so hard on them, but the neighborhood has rallied behind them. We take turns cooking and cleaning their house so Michelle and the boys can spend all their time with Richard. Any prayers for peace would be appreciated.

sending prayers of peace!!

Food Network Challenge is Disney Celebration Cakes!

I roasted a stuffed turkey breast I picked up at the store last weekend. The bread dressing also has apples and cranberries in it. Wow, is it good! And we did baked sweet potatoes and sliced tomatoes and green peppers and cucumbers as a side. Not a lot of work and really tasty!

that sounds lovely!!

We had taco bell on the way home after watching Twilight at the dollar movie....$5 to get in and $17.50 for the snacks:scared1: but still cheaper than the regular movies!!

It is still 76 degrees here... hard to believe what we were dealing with a week ago!!

Taco Bell sounds good too... not so much the movie though. I just haven't gotten into "Twilight" at all, books or film.

Wow, I remember when that little guy was a night owl.

He still is, but on school nights he goes to bed at 8 PM. He doesn't take naps now that he is in school full days so he needs to get plenty of sleep at night. Hunter goes to bed at 9 PM and Nick at 10 PM. Chris and I are also in bed by 10 PM now.

We spent some time with Brandon this weekend, he spent the night last night and we took him to dinner. Today we went to the pet store and played ball in the backyard, I felt like he needed some "sister free" time with us.
It's nice that you are giving him some individual time. He needs that.

After the kids got home we went for a nice long walk around our subdivision. I love this weather!

Bob took me out to dinner tonight. Elin made me hungry for Cheeseburger in Paradise with her mention of it the other day, so that's where we went.

If you had to choose between Ragland Road or Wolfgang Puck's, which would you choose, and why? :)

We'll send lots of pixie dust their way. That must be so horrible for the family to be going through. It is so nice of your neighborhood to rally behind them. We don't often see things like that happen around here.

That's part of why I love living here. I know I can count on my neighbors if I need anything. They helped take care of my kids while I was dealing with my mom's funeral, etc. It's a great place to live.

Oh yum! You are making me hungry. We're just waiting for Alan to come home before we can dig into the lasagna, and I'm HUNGRY! Nursing really makes me hungry!

We get a #12 (the one with sprouts and a guacamole spread) for Cassidy and I and Jim and Abi share one of the others.

I have them slice the pickle in 4 spears....I have to have my pickles in spears or slices.

We are twins! The #12 is my absolute FAVORITE!

don't you know you're supposed to stop at Walmart and buy a couple of the 88 cent boxes of theater candy and smuggle them in under your coat?

Help me decide on my Epcot dining. Any reason we should eat in Mexico or China? For those of you that have eaten at Morocco, France or Italy, which do you recommend and why? I'm trying to hit new places that we haven't tried before.

We are going to have the dining plan, since this will be our last trip where Nicholas is a "child". If we do any signature dinners, do you think we could use the ddp for half of the bill and use the TIW for the other half? That way our ddp credits would go further. Or am I overthinking this?

Sorry I'm no help Tammi, we're not very adventurous in dining and we've never been to any of those restaurants. We did really enjoy the Old Italian restaurant that closed even though it got several bad reviews. My DD's and I really liked the Italian waiters. :rolleyes1

Gotta love how IPO said they wouldn't make my ADRs for the days we aren't in concierge, but now they say it's fine.

It's just one ADR, so maybe that's why they are willing to go ahead and include it.

All of my requests have been submitted, they have my cc# on file for the Safari, now all there is to do is WAIT. :rolleyes1
Now you can 2nd guess all your choices and start making changes.:rotfl:

:wizard: Hope you find some relief for your eyes soon!!!

I haven't been to Wolfgang Puck's since 1998 so I can't say too much about that. We've been to Ragland Road a few times and have always enjoyed it. The menu does seem somewhat limited. The kids chicken strips there are really good.

I haven't been to Italy since it changed. Haven't been to France since 1996 but my friend Dorinda went in 2006 and LOVED it! We went to Morocco in 2006-it was our first night so we might have just been too tired and cranky from traveling but I actually had to leave with Emma it was so loud-I've never left any other dining with her. The food was good but it was way too loud. I've never been to Mexico or China. I know Janet likes China. I've read lots of not so great reviews on Mexico but Joe & I are going in May. I can't cancel because Joe can't wait to eat there on Cinco de Mayo.

I actually thought about adding deluxe DDP to my May trip as Joe would really love it but I just don't think I should do it while staying club level. Now I have the perfect excuse for taking him again before he turns 10.:thumbsup2

I was busy for quite a while yesterday with Girl Scout cookies. I didn't realize when I said I would be the cookie Mom how complicated this stuff would be.

Today Lizzy had a classmate over so they could do a poster on Mozart. Then Joe & I finally sat down and went through the over 2,000 from his January 2008 trip and get them down to just 208. I'm uploading those now to Kodak. The only thing he bought on that trip was a dated Disney photo album that held 200 photos. He'll have to weed out the extra 8 when we see the prints. I've been feeling guilty that I hadn't done it for him so it is nice to almost have it done. I printed about 100 photos from Lizzy's trip on my printer so I really had to get his photos done.

I haven't been to Ragland Road but I hear it's good. We LOVE Puck's and go there every trip.

Never heard a single good thing about Mexico. Don't know about China since it re-opened. Never been to Morocco or France. We did NOT care for Tutto Italia last year. We would not go back there. The service was good, the atmosphere was chaotic and the food was mediocre.
If you do signature dining pay eaither all in cash or all with credits. Based on our experience last year, signature is better with DDE because your tip is covered by the discount.

Bernadette - Nah, I am good with these ADRs.
Glad you got through Joe's photos! Sounds like it was a big project!
