Lindsay - I'm glad you got your ADRs.

Debbie - Maybe the system just wasn't working properly last night. I'd try again and see if you have better luck. :wizard:

Elin - I hope you feel better soon.

Good morning...

Lots of :wizard: and 's for everyone.

Mo is sick, lots of coughing and a nose that will not stop running. No fever though, so that's good. Lucy has been coughing a lot at while sleeping and woke up this morning covered in dried snot. Good thing we have an ear recheck appointment today. I bet she has another ear infection.

I hope everyone feels better soon.

Theresa -- tons of good luck for today.

Debbie -- that is good news about your DD. Good luck on ADRs.

Deb -- I hope your day goes quickly and easily.

Lindsay - I'm glad you got the ADRs you wanted and are feeling better. Hang in there!

Elin -- I hope the extra rest helps.

It's supposed to be 86 here today, then back in the 50s this weekend. Jake has soccer tonight and I'm going to try to walk again. I did get in about 50 minutes yesterday. I'll be glad when the time changes and I have more time at night to walk before it gets dark, though I had "losing" that hour when we spring ahead.

I hope all the DDA is feeling better. Have a good day everyone!

Thanks for the ditto-able post, Marci! :)

Anne Marie - I hope you have a good day, despite not getting any sleep!
My eye is still puffy and discolored along the lash line. It doesn't really hurt now - it itches. :headache:

Good morning, DDA!

It's actually snowing here. We don't see snow all the way down here to the valley floor very often, but this winter we've seen it quite a bit.

Hope everyone that is not feeling well is better soon :wizard:

I went shopping or at least tried to. I hate shopping for clothes, the tops that are available are just not my style anymore  I did find a couple pairs of shorts, guess I will just wear the same tops I always do lol

I cant believe I went to bed so early last night--I think i was out by 930! This week of conferences is beating me up! I have 6 more tonight, then 3 tomorrow afternoon--i cannot wait til these are done!

On the bright side-3 weeks from today i go to FLORIDA!!!

Jen - sorry your week has been so hard. I hope the rest passes quickly!!! And YAY for only 3 weeks!

I am going to take a page from Lindsay's book and go back to bed for a bit. I am definitely being revisited by the sick bug. This is the 4th morning I have wakened with a sore throat and today I have a headache and runny nose to add to it. No fever, though. Unlike the little darlings who come into my studio even though they had to stay home from school BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE FLU!

Oh no, Elin!!! I can't believe those kids came to their music lessons with the flu?!? What are their parents thinking (or not, appropriately enough)?

I hope your nap helped! It took me a while to fall back asleep, but I finally got an extra hour-and-a-half.

I am so tired I can't keep my head up..couldn't sleep at all. Had nightmares but I can't remember what they were. Hate nights like that, feels like you didnt get any sleep at all. I am off to work so no chance of a lie down.

Tonight we have alot on so theres lots of running around in my day.

Hope everyone has a great day. I can hear the birds chriping outside!:thumbsup2

I'm sorry, Anne Marie - those kinds of nights are certainly no fun. I hope you're able to get through the day, and rest well tonight.

This weather is crazy! And I wonder why I've had sinus junk for months now. Did you hear anything further on your swollen lymph node?

Sorry to hear Mo and Lucy aren't doing well, Robyn. I hope the doctor can help. :wizard: :wizard:

It is thundering & pouring down rain right now, perfect weather for sleeping lol

I just called Disney Dining again & was finally able to switch some ADR's  Beings we are not going with hoppers I had to let our Tusker House breakfast go & up till today was not finding any availability. The ADR is earlier than I wanted, but I took it :thumbsup2 We will get into AK before park opening, does anyone know if there is a certain place to go to like MK? Now if I can just get Ohana switched, I will be really happy. I will keep what I have if not though.

Janet - The AK turnstile is the one as far to the right as you can go. There should be a sign that says "CM's and breakfast ressies only". :)

I know the feeling. In my pictures it looks like I'm always wearing the same clothes.

Well, the parents are thinking, "I paid for that lesson, and by gum I am going to get that lesson!" The thing is, we offer makeup times for both classes as well as private lessons but it is not always as convenient for the parent. These are also the first parents who would be asking when I was going to make up a class if (God forbid) I should get sick and have to cancel!!

Unfortunately I didn't get the extra sleep. My phone kept ringing! Some calls were actually parents letting me know that Junior or Missy wouldn't be in class tonight because they have 1) the flu, 2) strep, 3) a fever! Hallelujah! for some bright parents. :goodvibes

Of course, if they were being really nice parents they would have emailed me instead so I could have slept...

I am glad you got a nap in, though!! :thumbsup2

Elin - Inconsiderate parents are rampant, unfortunately.
Sorry your phone kept ringing!

Somebody's burglar alarm was going off about 5:30 AM - it was LOUD, and they were rather slow about turning it off. Then Arabella decided she should play with DS's ID badge. He hangs it on the knob of the hall closet, and she thinks he does that JUST for her. Rattle, rattle, rattle.
Then my alarm went off, then DS's alarm went off, and that was the end of that!

Hi, all. Things here are going about as I expected. I got worse yesterday afternoon, chills and fever, etc., and by the time the kids got home from school, I was down for the count. Katie took care of the baby and all the other kids until Alan got home. He took over then, and kept Timothy with him in the guest room so I could sleep. I felt a bit better this morning, but not 100%. However, mom's can't be sick, I guess. Mary decided it was her turn. She's running a fever and throwing up, so she's home with me. I've got her in one room, Timothy in another, and myself running in between the two. I would have liked another day to rest and recuperate, but it's not to be.

However, Alan doesn't work tomorrow, so I'm planning on resting tomorrow and letting him deal with any sick kids that crop up between now and then. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that this is going to hit us all. I'm pretty sure that Timothy already had his share on Sunday, as he threw up everything 5 minutes after eating. I'm hoping that he's done. He has been sleeping a lot more lately, so I know he's still feeling the after effects. So, that leaves Katie, Jacob and Leslie. Keep your fingers crossed for us. My dad is coming up for a visit on Saturday, and we need to be healthy for that.

:wizard: that Timothy is over it and that the other 3 don't get it or get very mild. I hope you feel better fast.
