I did get some sleep. I'm leaving in 45 minutes and haven't looked at the materials this morning. We are in the start of a Nor' Easter so this could be a wild day. We are expecting up to 16"

Thanks for the well wishes. The first words out of Colby's mouth this morning was "I wish you good luck mama" Now he is making me a sandwich to take with me for lunch

Not all of the indoor or winter drumlines are not attached to the schools. So there might be one out there that he could join. You might want to ask his band director if he knows of any near by. I think most require that you be 14 to join. Which I know he is not yet. But you may be able to attend a competition if one is nearby.

There was a drumline competition in our area this weekend and not all the entrants were specifically connected to high schools, so I agree that DS might find one to join in your area too, Elizabeth.

Bob and I just made some plans for August 7-9...

Jennifer, Vicki, & Becky I would love the chance to at least say hi to you all, here are our plans for park days(remember we are going without hoppers this time).

March 4th(arrival day)- Epcot in the evening
March 5th - MK
March 6th - Epcot
March 7th - AK(beings AK closes so early we will probably go to DTD this night)
March 8th - DHS
March 9th - MK
March 10th - Epcot

I have ADR's for Tusker House breakfast on the 6th at 10:30am that we will not be able to use beings we are not hopping. If any of you are interested in taking this, let me know. Naturally it is for two lol. I have been calling & trying to get this for Saturday morning, but so far no luck

March 4th - AK late afternoon - unknown after
March 5th - MK in morning, DHS in evening
March 6th - DHS in early morning, then to WWOS for marathon expo, Epcot?
March 7th - Princess 5k in morning, POR for WISH meet for dinner
March 8th - Princess Half in morning, DHS special party evening
March 9th - leave early

It looks like we'll be at MK on the 5th when you are. We could probably meet up there. We may get to DHS early on the 8th for the party. We could meet up before the party if we haven't met by then.

My sister and her kids are going to be at Disney the beginning of August sometime as well. Mom will be going down with her and staying at my brothers (who will be living within 30 miles of Disney by then). I don't know if we'll be able to swing it but it sure would be nice to get down there when my family is there as well as my DDA family.

I wish it was WDW! But planning two trips in less than 3 months is going to be hard enough on our pocketbooks!

We are going to head up on Thursday night and stop in Gettysburg. We lived there a looooong time ago and would love to go back for some of our favorite places to look and (surprise) eat.

Marci & Lindsay - There is a temporary Disney liquidation store in Lewisville right now. It is park merchandise, not stuff from the Disney Store. I am not sure if we will make the trip up there to scope it out or not, but I thought I would mention it!

So does anyone haev any fun plans for today? I think Im just going to be a bum! We have parent/teacher conferences all week and I know that is usually such a crazy week and ill be exhausted.

Today, I am still in bed (i know, lazy!) and my only plans are to start trying on my tank tops and summer clothes so I know what I have for Florida next month. Other than that, as long as i get my 20 min of walking/exercising in, i have nothing planned!

If you're in the Dallas area - trot up I-35 to Lewisville, exit Hebron Grove (across from Vista Ridge Mall), and in the shopping center between Conn's and Academy, you'll find a temporary Disney discount store! It's mostly Disneyland stuff, but the deals are great! We spent $140 and got :1 adult size t-shirt; 1 plus size sweatshirt; 1 kids denim jacket; 1 kids sundress; 1 kids longsleeve t-shirt with hoodie; 1 set of princess dealy-boppers; 1 red Pirate Princess scarf; 2 sets of dreadlocks (for snapping onto pirate hats); 2 sets of pirate themed doo-rags; a pirate princess eyepatch; 1 set of 6 coasters (each themed to a different "land"); lots of Cap'n Mickey stickers; 2 items that must remain nameless because they're becoming Fish Extender gifts for our cruise in November; and a little baby sweatsuit. Most of the clothes are 50-70% off and there were some darlin' summer clothes.

Have any of you out there heard of this place?

We heard about it from a friend of ours yesterday and he told us that they had opened up one of their temporary stores (usually little over a month) in Lewisville, which is outside of Dallas. It's all Disney merchandise from the actual parks, not disneyonline. Are we the only people who've never heard of this?

We stocked up on tons of stuff that we wanted to buy on our last trip, but were trying to be careful not to over do our spending. Everything was 80% off the normal cost, so we got embroidered sweatshirts for like 22 bucks and tshirts for about 7-10. They even had other souviners, christmas ornaments, watches, collectables. Tons of stuff. Even Mickey ears! They update stock about every 7 days with new/more stuff. They stay until they sell out.

We're so stocked up on tshirts/sweatshirts, we won't have to buy anything at Disneyland on our next trip unless there's something new we just HAVE to have.

I'm such a happy camper right now.

the company comes to the Denver area every 18 or so months...we've gotten some great deals (espescially on pins )

As for what I am doing....we will go to my old work church for the youth Sunday services as the girls are playing. Then home.
