No hospitalization for now, and hopefully not at all. She sounds bronchiolitic now on top of the pneumonia (it IS a word!
) so he was a bit concerned, but she's acting 1000x better (which isn't saying much) and we all feel comfortable staying home and hoping the oral meds keep doing the trick. The MD pretty much said it helps tremendously that he knows us and trusts that Elise is in good care at home with an RN and MD, to where the only reason to hospitalize would be strictly if she needs IV meds. We're to keep temping her every 3 hours, and if it spikes again we'll be directly admitted. He's fairly confident it won't happen, as am I. Let's pray that confidence isn't unfounded!
