OMG I just found out one of our friends has twins and is expecting triplets!!!!She's a VP of our twins club, and I just can't even begin to imagine.......
I'm hanging out at the house for a while this morning before heading to the hospital, I have to get a few loads of laundry done.
I hope dd & Aubry get to come home today!
Laundry is never ending here, I haven't seen the bottom of our clothes hampers in a long time![]()
Prayers for Elise! I hope she is more comfortable today.
Andrew's grades came in yesterday -- all A's. He's getting closer to that i-phone. Jake is going in with Randy to work for a couple of hours, then his friend's parents will pick him up on the way home from their conference. Later today, they are off to Great Wolf Lodge. He's beyond excited.
Andrew will be dropped off with me, and we'll go to his conference (and Jake's) after lunch. Andrew has done well in school, but he hates having to sit in front of the eight teachers (5 teachers, an advisor and two speech teachers) and have them talk to him and us about his work. His speech processing makes him slower to respond in awkward situations. I told him it's good practice for work interviews. We may run by work for a while after that, then he has baseball practice tonight. I'm going to hopefully work from home tomorrow.
Better get back to work. Have a good day everyone.
I couldn't even imagine taking care of twins, lot's of PDfor her
Yeah... we won't be going that route, if you were wondering!![]()

Good morning.
We are off to the mall this afternoon..trying to keep the kids busy. I do love them being home this week. They have played so nicely & even Katie has been fun to be with. I guess with the pressure off from school she comes back to being my sweet daughter. I will brace myself for Monday morning.![]()

I could use a little prayer for miss Elise. She's been very sick approaching 2 weeks now, and can't shake it. Instead, she's getting worse. Now I fear we might have uncovered a little Reactive Airway Disease (precursor to Asthma, which one of our girls (at least) is bound to have). I hope not, but at the same time I would rather her "illness" go away and still find the RAD that we can then treat, rather than just have her continue to be sick. She's REALLY sick, as in going into these coughing fits where she just turns purple because she coughs so hard and can't catch her breath. All day.Avery has escaped with just a bit of a cold it seems, which is a blessing but also makes me more concerned about whatever Elise is battling. Boo.
Hopefully, they're "getting it out of their system" before WDW. That would also mean, though, that it has to go away before then
Our internet and phones are on the skitz too, maybe because it continues to be windy. Not as bad as it was a week ago, but it seems the winds have never quite died down.Between that and the ice storm before, there are still trees coming down everywhere, etc.
I'm ready for WDW.
I hope you all are doing well, and I'm sorry I only catch up a bit at a time. I've got to use my sparse internet time (and really, sparse children-sleeping time these days) the most efficient way possible.
Make it a great day!![]()

Very sad. I hope that the cuts don't show in their service.Layoffs, reorganization at Disney theme parks
Further cuts expected in coming months
By Paul Bond
Feb 18, 2009, 08:50 PM ET
Pink slips were issued Wednesday at Disney Parks and Resorts and more are on the way, courtesy of a reorganization designed to eliminate redundancies at a unit that employs 80,000 workers.
Disney wouldn't say how many were laid off or how many more layoffs are expected.
The reorganization, said Parks and Resorts chairman Jay Rasulo, is not only a response to the weak economy but also a way to further the successes of a shake-up four years ago.
Rasulo said a reorganization in 2005 led to speedier delivery of theme-park shows based on "High School Musical" and to the simultaneous openings of "Toy Story Mania" at parks in Florida and California, and he seeks more of the same.
With Wednesday's announcement, resort development will merge with attractions and entertainment development and be led by Bruce Vaughn, the chief creative executive at Imagineering, and Craig Russell, the chief design and project delivery executive.
Not mentioned by Rasulo was John Lasseter, though insiders say he will remain principal creative adviser to Imagineering, a role he assumed when Disney purchased Pixar in 2006.
Also, a business development and real estate team will combine and be headed by executive vp Nick Franklin, and the teams operating infrastructure at Walt Disney World and at Disneyland Resort will merge, led by president of worldwide operations Al Weiss.
Heads of the new departments are expected to make further cuts in staff in the months ahead.
"Organization changes require difficult decisions, including the elimination of some roles," Rasulo said in a memo to employees. "These decisions were not made lightly and we know this will be a challenging transition. The people affected are our friends and colleagues, and they have made valuable contributions."
The reorganization comes just weeks after Parks and Resorts offered voluntary buyouts to 600 executives amid a 4% decline in quarterly revenue to $2.7 billion and a 24% drop in operating income to $382 million.
