DDA Chapter 17

Unfortunately, we're looking at our spring break time (March 20-27) because it wouldn't be such a hardship on my parents then running the girls all over to school functions/sports practices, etc. Luckily Orlando's spring break starts the 30th

so this trip is without the girls?

Always happy to help! :thumbsup2

Our Spring Break is March 16 -20. That is so bizarre. I would have SWORN it was the week before. Good thing I didn't make plans, because they would have been for the wrong week! :rotfl: I think the week of Easter is worse than any of the March weeks.

thats because for years it has been.

Good morning,

Been down with the bad cold/flu for a few days. I feel much better today but not 100%. I am down 4lbs this week so theres a bright side.

Terry is scheduled for surgery sometime between noon and 1pm today. My girlfriend, Joey and I, will head up to Baltimore at 11am and stay until we know he is safely out of surgery. If all goes well, he will come home tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the good thoughts. I appreciate them.

Single Digits people!:cool1:

Can you tell that I am slightly excited!

I had a laugh a little this morning when I had a notification that someone posted on DDA Chapter 16. Only to find out that it was the moderator closing a monster thread that we haven't posted on since 1/12 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks Theresa, feel better soon. :wizard:

Sherpa is another word for llama, I think.

Sorry all I've read along but it's been a cruddy day and I'm fighting a terrible headache. So hugs and pd all around. (Love the pictures everybody)

or
a fabric with a woolly pile of polyester, cotton, etc., often used for linings of winter clothing

Anne Marie glad you are feeling better!

Robyn pixiedust: for your friend.

Bernadette & Tom you are almost there :cool1:

The school called looking for a sub this morning. I'm still not feeling great so I declined, but did have the chance to tell her that I'd like to work 2-3 full days each week. I think that accompanied by my waitress shifts will go a long way for us financially. Hopefully that means we've made it through the most difficult time of the year. Fingers crossed here.

The kids are ready for school. Colby is so excited that the gets to stay for the full day today. He gets to ride the bus. I wrote Hunter a note so that he can leave his last class a bit early to help Colby with the bus. It must be nice to have a big brother that is worried about you :lovestruck: Colby had asked Hunter if he could sit with him today.

I still have no appetite. I didn't sleep well again last night. After the house clears out I will go back to bed an hope that today is the last day of this crud.
