Tammi glad you all had fun skating. I would love to be able to cook out right now! We only had a 30% chance of flurries today & it has been snowing since early this afternoon

Chanon called & they are on their way home. The drive yesterday took a little longer due to snow, but they made it safely & hopefully will be home by 9 tonight.

Congrats to everyone on their weight loss.

It was a beautiful day here but I have something wrong with me...I am in agony from my neck to my knees and still can't hear out of my ears. We decided to try and find Abi some new shirts (the girl is 5'7" and is not stopping)because she constantly stretching most of her shirts to cover belly. We found ONE shirt for her but I happened upon a $2 dress at Lane Bryant for myself.

The football game on now just looks so painful for the players.

We also started getting Abi's 13 presents this weekend.

So far we have:

a baking box-will be a covered dish/pan with a mix and 12 items needed for baking/cooking

a hair pretty bucket-a cute tin with 13 hair pretties in it.

writing-for this one we have a few writing/coloring items picked out.

we will be getting for sure:

a new water bottle with 13 straws in it
a Vera Bradley book cover (if I can find one...a regular one if I can't) and 13 bookmarks


after that I am out of ideas.....anybody??

Cassidy is on her first official date that didn't involve a school dance or a group of other people. I swear she was just Avery and Elise's size.

we watched it Friday....Cassidy borrowed it from a friend. It was okay. We are looking forward to the Nick movie "Spectacular" in February.

Most shirts are often too short for me. Or they start long enough and then shrink up, but get way too wide. I often wear a long tank underneath. Old Navy has tall shirts, as does JC Penney, and Gap. I often end up getting mens as they run longer. Although a lot of the baby doll type stuff is longer then other shirts. Or the longer sweaters would work as well.

I need to go get some warm winter shirts, but I despise shopping so I have yet to do so. I spent most of last week at work freezing as I do not have cold weather work clothing. Last year the office was warm and I wore short sleeves. This year it is cold in there.

So I am more overwhelmed then I was earlier. In trying to choose a hotel. It is hard to choose a hotel. especially when 2 of the families that are going with us are on tighter budgets then us.
