Happy Birthday Amy

Well talk about cutting it close, the shower is tomorrow and I just finished this,

It didn't come out exactly as I had pictured, she'll be able to use it when she's a toddler.

We are keeping Brandon tonight but we found out last night that a family friend has passed away so we'll be taking him with us to the wake. I won't take him into the viewing area, we'll take turns going in and giving our condolences, I think it's too soon for him, and certainly something his parents should explain to him.

Thanks, everyone! I do have to say that the PhotoPass pictures were a wake-up call to me... I really need to get back on the diet bandwagon too. I have to decide how I am going to do it though. WW's interests me but I have no time to go to weigh-ins and am perfectly happy with religiously and honestly doing them myself. Is anyone doing the online version? If so, what are the costs involved?

I'm doing weight watchers without signing up online or for meetings. I'm using my old materials from when I attended years ago. It isn't working well though. I managed to regain 2 lbs while I was sick :confused3 Of course I barely moved for those 2 days.

WDW steak. The best I've had was at the Concourse steakhouse, but they are no longer there. It was good at the Coral Reef and at Artist Point though.

And with that we are off. I hope this show is as good as Colby has been tell us it is ;)

Debbie - the afghan is lovely. I know she will love it and you for making it for her.

Thank you all on your responses about steak & Chanon thanks for posting the pictures again :thumbsup2

Tammi I like the photo book!

Deb I hope you & Colby enjoy Disney On Ice tonight!

Amy pixiedust: that a Wii ft is making it's way to your home!

Elin & Terry good luck with your decision about joining WW's. I think you both look wonderful, but I know myself that we never think that :goodvibes

Jen have fun with whatever comes along for the plans tonight!

Theresa your comment about your cat waking you up gave me a chuckle

Thank you Lindsay.

Heidi - I think they can work with astigmatism and contacts these days. You should ask your eye doctor about that, and perhaps he could give you a sample pair to try out. Each person is different in how they react to contacts - and I really think it comes down to how comfortable you are with touching your eye (as Theresa pointed out). I could touch my eye all day long with no problems, while Jonathan can't touch his eyes at all (he can't even use eye drops :upsidedow ). Thus, he's a glasses type of guy. He has practically invisible frames made of titanium that are really comfortable for him. Lots of pixiedust: for your little cousin, too.

I knew I was forgetting someone! Debbie I think you did a wonderful job :thumbsup2 You all amaze me with your sewing/knitting skills here, something that I am not good at, at all.

Chuck said Concourse as well but I'm not sure if the steak was that good or if it was the company. That was when we had dinner with Stephanie & her sister. We had one of the most enjoyable meals that I have ever had.

Lindsay - I am glad Jonathan is feeling a little better about the way things will be laid out for his territory.
Enjoy the rest of your vacation! :)

Good morning, Elin!

It is criminal to up this early on a Saturday. Arabella was running and jumped on the bed. She stepped in my eye so I got up to survey the damage. Stupid cat. Actually, stupid me. We will NEVER have another cat with claws again as long as I live. :sad2:

I was up too early too! First Rachel's alarm went off at 5:45am (she was at a lockin). Then, the phone rang at 6:15 as Rachel was done with said lockin. Then, Phil woke my up at 7:30 running for the bathroom. I gave up after that.

I am going to ask for some spare pixie dust for a close family friend, our Godson's father.

Lots of it coming his way!

I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY

Gotta scraplift. It's lovely!

Happy birthday, AMY!!!!

Anyone ever use Craigslist to SELL anything? I just put some toys and old Leap Pad/Frog stuff on there. I figure it's easier than having a garage sale.

My BIL has on a number of occassions and Kristi has with a couple of things. Both of them sold them in no time at all.

Thanks Elin,

Love the picture in your signature

Ditto!!! It's beautiful.

We are back from the movies and Chuck E Cheese. We took the kids to see Hotel for Dogs, which was really cute. Then, Connor had a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese so we took the other kids as well. Noon on a Saturday...not my favorite time at Chuck's. It was fun though.

Now we're just hanging out and not doing much of anything.

Tia do you ever rest, you always are so busy!

Sounds like you have had a good day though.

I'm not sure that I do rest. I can't remember doing so anyway. ;) That's why we need Disney. That is my chance to rest. (Sad, eh?) That explains why I'm tired most of the time. I'm hoping that once we have our house and don't have people around quite as much (though I'm sure it will still be a lot) that things will slow down at least a little bit.

I did decide this morning that I need to talk to Erin and Brendan tomorrow. I think that Erin thinks I know I'm babysitting Kaylin every Saturday. Every week until this one, she's called and checked with me about it and let me know the times. This time she never called and I came down from my shower to find Brendan here dropping her off. Lucky for her, Phil was sick today. Otherwise, I would have left here at 8 when it was time to take him to work and then just stayed at the mall for the movie. Plus, with having charges all week (the baby has been here everyday lately plus I'm adding 1-2 two days a week in Feb and will add another 1 or 2 after we move), I just can't have Kaylin every Saturday, especially when I'm not being paid. That is my only day off right now since everyone is here most to all of Sunday as well. I think I've decided to offer 1 Sat a month, but am still working it out. Due to the issues we sometimes have, I don't think this is going to go over well. If they want to offer to pay me for every Sat then I might consider it. I've got to figure that out though.

Debbie, you did a wonderful job! :thumbsup2

Tia - I wouldn't do every Saturday. Really, I wouldn't. Even if they pay you. I typically have offers to work nearly every Saturday evening and I get really burned out on it. Ask Robyn abdout doing daycare in your house all week and see if she would take an extra kid every Saturday. (I already know her answer. ;) )

My eye feels kind of sticky when I blink. I am trying not to think of what sort of bacteria was on the cat's foot when she jammed it into my eye. :crazy2:

That's what I'm thinking too and I think that's what my mom was starting to say before we got interupted earlier. As my mom said also, Erin is always complaining that she doesn't get to spend much time with Kaylin. Well, the same is basically true for me and Terra with every Saturday filled. Granted Terra is physically here with me, but it's not like we can really "do" much with a bunch of others running around too.

Tia what a situation you have been put in. As difficult as it may be I would have to say something myself, you need a day off. Seems to me that Erin is assuming more than she should & maybe taking a little advantage of your kindness.

I hope this can all be worked out without any hurt feelings pixiedust:

thanks for the dittoable post:goodvibes

Pearl hasn't purposely scratched us since right after we brought her home but she does love licking me and nipping . But I gotta say that the underarm is a new one and the fact she did it twice was hilarious.
