I had fudge for breakfast! I agree that it's not fun to make, but it's SO yummy!

The fudge that I make is firm. I prefer that over the other. Of course, I eat it all!

No, it doesn't overlap. We arrive on Feb. 27. She is leaving the day before we fly in.

Two batches of my shortbread are in the oven. I might have to have one for breakfast (one cookie, not one whole batch...).

One cookie, one batch, it's all good.

Yes we did. And John told me to book breakfast at CP.

Chuck says that the ice storm didn't make it to Vermont. It went as far as New Hampshire. At least that is what he heard on the news.

we are getting ready for some crazy weather....right now it's in the 40's....tonight it will drop to 18 with freezing rain headed towards us! I absolutely HATE this weather.

Hopefully this resolves quickly as we are heading out of town on Wednesday for an impromptu trip

We are currently getting lots of snow. I should have went grocery shopping yesterday but it was so nice to spend the day at home after being on the road all week.

Which is why - blasphemy ahead! - we never registered for any!

I figured that if/when we have an occasion that we need to use it (especially considering I don't even really like how most looks!) we'll have enough money to buy some .... and really, I'm pretty sure we'll never use it

Instead, we can buy nice sets of dishes for Christmas, etc whenever we want, considering I'll get tired of them in a few years anyway!

We got one 4 piece setting and decided to return as we didn't want to buy the rest ourselves. Naomi picked up a 12 place setting at a garage sale for $35 and it looks just fine. Don't think we ever used it though.

I saw that the trees on display at Sears rotate, but I didn't see a price tag for JUST the stand the day I was looking. I might have to go back over there and see if I can locate a sales associate!

Garden Ridge has them, but when we were there they cost like $95.

I found some online for that price.
They seem to vary drastically in price - anywhere from about $40 up to almost $100. Maybe I will get lucky and run across a clearance one in my travels.

Well, as done as I can be. I'm waiting for XH's gift to arrive and then the kids can wrap it. And I'm waiting for them to wrap the photo calendar for my parents. I still need to get them their ornaments, and I need to get gifts for 2 girlfriends and gift cards for teachers. But all the wrapping is done! Oh, and I need to get Bethany's gift. Hopefully Bob will help me with that tomorrow.
