I just answered a trivia question correctly on a radio contest. Now I'm waiting to see if I was the randomly drawn winner. It is for 6 tickets to Disney on Ice In Boston. Fingers crossed here. I will know in just a couple of minutes.

Thanks ladies..I will get it for her. I am getting her Twilight & New Moon. She hasn't read those but asked about them the other day. She has been hard to buy for this year because unlike my other 2 she did not write a note for Santa.

I got Daniel a few books from the "Adventures of Ordinary boy", HP & the Deathly Hallows, Beettle of the Bard (HP) & the new 39 Clues book.

Sophie wanted "The Giving Tree". I found one at Amazon with a CD read along. I also found this cute Bolt book at my store but it was $20 (even with my CM discount it would be $18) but I found it online for $13. It's called "One Ridiculous Adventure". So I got that for Sophie too.

I am wrapping & trying to see if everything looks even. Ok back to wrapping!

Oooh...does Daniel like the 39 Clues books? I bought Miles the first one, but I wasn't sure how it is. The first was written by Rick Riordan who wrote the series that Miles just finished (Percy Jackson and the Olympians or something like that).

I need to do some book shopping (and other shopping) myself. I told myself I'd be out of here by 11:00 am, and it's getting close. I did just place a big order on Amazon that included a camera for Laura, so even though I don't have many gifts for my kids, I have spent plenty.

My finger is better, thanks. The tip is still a little tender but I am starting to type with it again.

I might be able to join you in that. My favorite aunt used to always say, "It's a good thing your mother didn't name you Grace."

Heidi, I hope your finger is feeling better. Those types of injuries can hurt for quite a while.

He loves to play on the computer. I'll have him try it this afternoon

We are having good luck with the car game that we came up with too. I have him tell me a lette on each road sign that we see. It might be the first letter of the first word or the second letter of the first word, etc. Yesterday he was able to recognize more than one letter on a sign. And he loves it.

Anyone have a nice, small digital camera? Laura wants one, and I don't know much about them. I'd like to keep it under $200 but still have a good quality camera. I have done a little looking around, and I think I like the Canon SD1100 or the Canon SD770. But I don't really know anything about the compact cameras.

Yes Daniel has the first book & a pack of booster cards & he loves it. Katie got him more cards from her holiday fair at school & she was giggling that he was going to be so happy.

I know, I spent a ton of money on my kids & it doesn't look like much all over the living room floor right now.

The Wii & DS games are so expensive & they are so tiny under the tree.

It was 31 when I took him to school, but it wasn't icy! It was cool yesterday but not cold enough to freeze the ground! I think DS might need to learn a bit more about weather.

DH picked up our Christmas cards. They printed the photos in the wrong configuration! I wanted the group photo in the middle! Oh, well! Too late now! So when you guys get these cards and think "It would have looked better with the group in the center" just know that's what I did on the website but that's NOT how they printed them!

Yes, yes, yes! Given the many times she's been to WDW, this book would be perfect for her! I loved it, and I read it before I'd been to WDW! There's a sequel, too, but I can't review that one. It's waiting for me under the tree!

I can't ride IASW without thinking about it!
