Hi Paula! :yay: Your kiddos are so sweet! Pop in when you can.
As are yours, wow are they getting big.

Hi Paula! Your girls are so adorable! Bethie's curly hair is too cute! I'll have to check out Ellie's youtube/myspace pages when I get home from work.
Bethie tells people I stuck her fingers in a light socket as a baby and this is how she got her curly hair. :rotfl2:

It's good to hear from you Paula. I'm sorry that things with the Step Daughter have been so troubling. I hope that she eventually mends her ways. The girls are beautiful as usual in your siggie. I understand the no sleep issue. I'm doing nights at the restaurant and subbing at school too. I am also planning to take a position working through the holidays, through the night. It will be great money and I know that it is a set period of time so I think I can manage. I will give up subbing for those weeks since I will need to sleep then. I got a call from the USPS today to set up my drug screening. I assume that I will have the job once they get the results. I certainly don't do drugs so I cannot imagine a problem.
It's a full time job having so many part time jobs. :rotfl:
PD and prayers for a good drug screen and new job ASAP

Paula I love the turkey in your signature. Is that a black friday turkey? I gotta have me one of those :thumbsup2

Colby's appointment went well. He is 95th percentile for weight and 65th for height. So he could stand to slim down a bit, but otherwise all is well. The doctor is not concerned that he still bed wets and wants to give him at least 6 more months before we do anything. She also said that there is no need to limit drinking as that is an old wives tale :confused3 :confused3 Now she tells us that as we have been trying that for months with inconsistant results.
You can take the turkey, I don't know if he is a BF turkey, I just saw him and laughed.
PD for Colby, sometimes it just goe like that. My niece did the same thing an then one day it just didn't happen anymore.

Paula - Good to have you stop in! :)

DH just called and said they have a meeting tomorrow to discuss the restructuring at work. He said the other zone just north of us re-did all of their routes and they are scheduled to start with everybody in their new spots in the next couple of weeks.

They are basically combining all of the smaller routes into bigger ones, and changing the duties the drivers will have. I anticipate it will be an outright fiasco. There is also the intent to kid of "cap" the revenue on the routes by grouping the stores so the drivers don't have a huge variance in salary. They have to do it fast, too, because they have to get through vacation bids in time for people to go on vacation in January! :scared1: The only way around that would be to black-out the entire month of January to buy more time and have more guys on vacation each week of the remaining 11 months.

The logistics are going to be hideous. I can't even wrap my brain around how they are going to get everyone reassigned. Good thing that's not my job!:scared:
PD to DH for a good day tomorrow.

Hi Paula, nice to see your typeface here!

.
nice to read you as well.

Rees is really sick with a 103 fever. His eardrum burst this am and is draining really yucky fluid. I work tonight, but John is back from the funeral so I can go. I had antibiotic drops and oral antibiotics, so we started those. If he's still running a high fever tomorrow then I will take him to the doctor.

It has been a rough 2 nights at work. I have the sickest baby they said I'll ever care for. She is truly suffering and is in multi organ failure, but the mom won't take her off support. She nearly died last night, but pulled through. We were so hoping she would go. Please pray that she does soon so that she can finally be at peace. It is so difficult watching her struggle so badly. My heart aches.

poor Rees, prayers for him.
It must be so hard for the mom to let go. Prayers for all of them as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
CHRIS

Hi Paula, nice to see your typeface here!

Deb how exciting about the job at the post office! I checked ours after you mentioned this & naturally they are not hiring at the moment. I really could use a 2cd job to get through the holidays. This year just seems worse money wise & it is really stressing me out. I thought many times I should cancel my Dec. trip(feeling very guilty for spending money I shouldn't), but I just couldn't do it. So I will make it somehow & keep my fingers crossed that something comes available.

Check UPS and FedEx. I've seen signes next to the road saying that they are hiring.

Paula I just looked at Ellie's myspace web page & oh my goodness can she sing! I know you are so proud, you have a rising star there :goodvibes

Denise :wizard: for Rees, I hope he feels better soon!

Prayers for the baby girl, I hope she is at peace soon

Denise, I hope Rees feels better soon! :wizard:
Sending many wishes for comfort and peace to the baby and the baby's mom. How sad she must be! :sad2:

Paula - Thanks for the PD for DH. He will still have a job, I am sure, I just don't know if he will like the job he lands in! He is still low on the totem pole so he doesn't have much say in the matter. He did say some of the old-timers might get mad enough to retire, so we'll see!

 I can remember caring for a baby in a similar situation. Your heart really does break almost unbearably, both for the baby and the mother. I honestly can't imagine doing the NICU after being a mom. I will definitely add the family, the staff, and the baby to my prayers!

ETA: I hope the antibiotics help Rees quickly, too! :wizard:

I think I forgot to mention that I sent 2 of our 3 exchanges out last week... with no card/tag. Of course, our name is on the return address but I am a doofus and forgot to put anything else in there.

And before anyone gets excited that may have them land on your doorstep, the boxes are much more exciting looking (read: larger) than what's inside, I'm sorry for the deception. I wanted to get them out, and Office Depot was out of a more appropriate sized box! :rotfl:

I was so excited to discover that Staples sells shipping boxes! I always have a terrible time finding shipping boxes, so now I know where to look next time I need one!
