I saw this t-shirt on another board and thought I really wish I had one of those embroidery sewing machines! The appliqué is downloaded to the machine and it will place it onto your fabric. The person who made this also had downloaded the Disney font to her machine.

She posted a link to the company where she gets her appliqués and fonts... there are a ton of Mickey ones! Hey, Tom!! I'm just sayin' ...

Believe me, I have been looking at those applique sewing machines. Too bad they are usually in the hundreds of dollars! I do have a few friends from the disboards that have them. They are usually willing to help out if needed!

I found a apple crisp recipe for one serving to make in the microwave. I might have to give that a try beings I am the only one who will eat it anyway.

I haven't tried it yet, but if I can find all the ingredients(almost everything is still packed)I hope to try it out today. If you make it let me know what you think & I will do the same!


Easy Apple Crisp

First wash the apple. Next completely peel the apple. Cut the apple around the core and then cut the pieces into thin slices. Next arrange the slices in your microwave safe dish. Now I make the crumb topping. Put 1 1/2 tablespoons of self rising flour into a bowl. Next add 3 tablespoons of old fashioned oats. Next cut 1 tablespoon of butter and put it into the bowl. Add 2 heaping tablespoons of brown sugar. Next sprinkle some cinnamon.

Mix these ingredients until you get a good texture for the crumb topping. Sometimes you need to get dirty and use your hand to mix in the butter.
Now, spread the crumb mixture over the apple. Microwave the dish for 2 1/2 minutes on high. When it's done, serve and enjoy.

Its 7 here, but 9 at home so im wide awake. I cant believe I forgot to tell you this yesterday, but i was drained---my family, yet again, needs some prayers.

My mom was supposed to pick me up after work to take me to the airport and instead my uncle was there. My mom got a call that grandma was being taken to the hospital. (this is my grandma that was married to my grandpa that died last november). They think she may be having heart failure or soemthing so they wanted to do tests.

I asked if i should stay home and they said no so i came here...they are still running tests and she stayed at the hospital over night. Im just really scared being so far away. I know this is a rough month for her because this time last year, grandpa was still alive, but getting worse. Plus, she is at the same hospital grandpa was. So please keep grandma in your prayers

PS - I had my first visit with my new doctor yesterday, it went well but of course she wants more tests run.

She also changed my diabetes medication from Glucotrol to Metformin, she thinks it will be better because I've had a few instances where my sugar level dropped significantly. Hopefully I will be able to stop all diabetes medicine soon.

Good for you. Keep up the great work!

I need motivation. My to do list is miles long, yet when I'm not working I don't want to do anything around here. I really hope that I can be productive tomorrow.

If you find it, send some my way. I really need to get all of my Halloween put away and by the time we finish laundry and homework I'm too tired to go up and down stairs a half-dozen times. It's gotten so bad that I've tried remembering to take my vitamins again. I hope this helps.

I still have a bit of a nagging ache in the head, but I think my Tylenol Sinus ought to take care of it. I hope so, anyway! Singing with a headache is not fun!
