I didn't make it. At our grocery store, when you buy fresh seafood at the seafood counter, they have several marinades and rubs that they will add for you, at no cost. It was yummy though.

That's cool... and yummy!

This weekend is the 17th annual Downtown Retail Merchants' Open House. The first Open House was the very first thing I did when I started to work at Yamaha. I cannot believe it has been that long!

Our downtown is starting to look like the holidays even though most of the trees still have their leaves on them. It is supposed to be mostly sunny and 60 so it should be a gorgeous day for our festivities!

I'm definitely watching for the deal this evening. As Janet mentioned, the rumor is 4+3 free -- rooms, tickets, etc. Another one added a gift card, which would be an added bonus. We are already going (and - as hard as it was - I decided an earlier trip (ie January) wouldn't exactly be fair to Kyle ). I'm hoping to add significantly to it, depending how it works out with DVC points going back to use years, etc. If we did, I think my family would join us for the second half!

I hadn't heard the rumor of what the deal could be. But I will say that I am glad I didn't renew my AP this year. So far it seems that WDW is offering great deals to the general public... as good as any I have gotten with my AP in the past.

We have AP's good til April 2009 so if B4G3 is the deal then that won't work for us....

ETA: I meant the family does..I was getting comp tickets from work...when I move the nearest disney store will be 30 miles away. Right now I have 5 within a few miles of me.

I saw this t-shirt on another board and thought I really wish I had one of those embroidery sewing machines! The appliqué is downloaded to the machine and it will place it onto your fabric. The person who made this also had downloaded the Disney font to her machine.

She posted a link to the company where she gets her appliqués and fonts... there are a ton of Mickey ones! Hey, Tom!! I'm just sayin' ...

Hmm. I guess I should take a calendar to work. Just in case. The thing is, a deal like B4G3 is only beneficial to people who can actually go for a week. The only week we could do that would be Spring Break, and airfare would kick our butts. Besides, I don't think any deals will include Spring Break dates.

Good luck to all that are wanting to get in on the Dlsney Deal that will come out today. From what I have read it might be a stay for 4, get 3 free!

I'll be calling at 5pm for my May trip for sure. Still don't know what to do for January. I might try Beach Club for January???? Or maybe I should do Pop with AP for January? If I do both trips with this deal I'd have to buy tickets for both trips-I could always hang onto the extra ticket-Joe & Lizzy need them anyways and I'll need to upgrade AP in May. I'm leaning toward AKL in May with Joe-I could add you to our room if you don't mind buying a ticket. I'll let you know tonight what I get.

I just looked at airfare over Spring Break and that definitely won't work. The cheap airfare is mid-week, which means even if DH took a vacation week the dates wouldn't line up properly. And DS would miss school. I think I better just stick to the August plan. If there is some alternate deal where you don't have to stay 7 nights I will look at it again.
