Remember I told you guys my flight to Orlando was changed from 9:00am to 7:25am? I finally got a chance to check my seat assignments and they have us on a tiny little plane now-2 seats on each side. Something new for Lizzy to experience. Maybe it will load and unload faster. We are in row 9.

That's not a tiny little plane. A tiny little plane is one where there is only one seat on each side. I used to fly one like that to Chicago all the time when I first got my job with the state and they flew me down for my training through Chicago.

Unfortunately, yes I had to cancel due to the move. I am very dissapointed but I hope there will be other opportunities for us to go again.

Well you got two trips out of Dana for next year... But we'll miss you in December!!!

We had some chicken recipe I found on all recipes - Janet said it's sweet and sour chicken. It was chicken mixed with onion soup mix, 1 cup french dressing and 1 cup apricot preserves.
It was yummy!

You know me so well, Tammi! But NO... not tonight!

I have had a sinus headache/migraine most of today so I canceled out on my rehearsal tonight. Bob and Kristin decided I needed to eat before heading to bed so they met me downtown at 6:30 and we went to Capital Ale House! YUMMY and lots of good beers on tap. I had the mussels and a Legend Brown Ale and Kristin had her favorite pretzel sandwich with a Legend Brown. Bob had their braised pork shank with a Leinenkugels Hefeweizen. Very nice and the location is perfect. They are a great addition to the downtown restaurant scene.

I inadvertently overtipped our server and Kristin says he will fight tooth and nail to have us in his section from here on out.

Leftover Mexican food for Alan and me, and pumpkin waffles for the kids. They didn't want the Mexican.

tilapia in a mango/key lime marinade, rice and mixed veggies.

Oooo, I'd love the recipe for the marinade, if you don't mind. We love tilapia, but I'd like some different ways to make it.

That was the first meal I ever made for my MIL and FIL. FIL raved over it, and really made me feel like I was a good cook. Of course, that was before I learned how bad a cook my MIL is.

Still, it's one of our favorite meals. We like to serve it over rice.

Huh. Somebody tell me if it is really something good. Right now I have no intention of going back before August. I got an e-mail from American today that if you transfer miles from one account to the other they will give you 20% of the miles back as a bonus! But if I had waited to move the miles into DH's account then he wouldn't have been able to get the flights he got because they are up to 50K miles now.

I certainly hope this wasn't their big promotion!

Abi had a girls in science forum today...she came home loaded with lots of cool stuff. She had a huge list of science topics to choose from and she choose NO animal science topics. She ended up in a sounds & sights and 2 astronomy/rocket science forums. She also got lunch out of the deal. It was sponsored by Lockheed Martin, Ratheon and was held in one of the convention centers...I should have asked to tag along!!

That sounds cool!

Well, since Alan is home now, I'm going to try to sneak to bed early. He's so good about letting me do that these days. I don't remember him being like this with any of the other pregnancies. Maybe he's realizing that I'm old and need more attention. What a sweetie!

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, and we'll see where I am. Hopefully, I haven't started to dilate, yet, but with everything I've done in the last few weeks, who knows!

Now I get to start going every week. That's when you know the pregnancy is almost over! I can't believe it!

As I left work last night I told John if I didn't feel better I wouldn't be in...he said "I hope not you sound horrible"

So while I do feel better I don't feel 100% (not even close) and being up and concentrating for long periods is not something I could handle today. But as my mom said I can blame the cold on my red eyes....it worked for the guys not so much for one of the ladies and the others don't really care.

I'M TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE DONE WITH YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING! I've bought 3 things! STOP RUBBING IT IN!

I don't think I have bought anything-unless you count the dSLR I bought myself. I think I have a few little things left over from last year. I think I know what I'm getting the kids from Santa-American Girl Molly stuff for Lizzy, Kaya for Emma and a set of walkie talkies for Joe that have text messaging-he'll need something else too. I ordered some tourism info on Nova Scotia & PEI for DH (I had them sent to a friend's house). I think I'll make him a planning notebook. He is so hard to buy for but I think he'd like this. I have no idea what to buy my SIL & MIL.

Grrrrrrr. I'm so angry! I agreed to babysit my SIL's 3 youngest kids tonight so she and her husband could go to a choir concert of 2 of their other kids. She just called and told me that her youngest daughter has been running a temperature all day, and is complaining of stomach trouble. She just wanted me to be aware before she drops her off here in an hour! She knows that I'm not supposed to be around sick kids at this point in the pregnancy, but she just doesn't care!

So, I get to quarantine a 5 year old and try to keep her away from my kids from 4:00 until 10:30. Grrrrrrr!

Hopefully, Alan comes home early tonight and helps out. I'm going to need it!

So who is speculating about the huge news Disney is supposed to announce tomorrow. I might have to try to sweet talk my DH into a trip for my birthday next year if the Package deals are any good.

I hope it is something good that will work for me! I actually talked to Lizzy about where she might want to stay if I can get a good deal. I did NOT tell her I have AKL CL now and she has NO interest in AKL. She wants CBR/YC/BC or Poly.

I certainly hope this wasn't their big promotion!

I hear you. I have great intentions each morning, but by afternoon, I'm DONE! I'm blaming it on the pregnancy, but it could be just apathy, too!

Good luck tomorrow. My hope is to finish Jacob's birthday and Christmas shopping. One more birthday present and 2 Christmas presents and he's done. Then I can start focusing on Katie. The twins are pretty much done, except for something from mom and dad.

Oooo, I'd love the recipe for the marinade, if you don't mind. We love tilapia, but I'd like some different ways to make it.

I didn't make it. At our grocery store, when you buy fresh seafood at the seafood counter, they have several marinades and rubs that they will add for you, at no cost. It was yummy though.
