This store is sounding familiar, Jennifer. We used to shop at a wonderful grocery store outside of Dayton called Lofino's that was a lot like you are describing. I wonder if they are one and the same?

Nope, definitely not. Jungle Jim's is on the Cincinnati beltway (275) and was started out of the back of a truck in.... the 70's(?) in Hamilton - by a Miami alum, no less!

If Lofino's is what I'm thinking of, it does offer some selection (similar to what our local grocers now carry, with organic and international crazes) but nothing like Jungle Jim's. JJ's is now something like 7 acres inside and offers 20+ departments, all of good size. There's even a monorail taken from King's Island - along with lots of other things from there - although it's yet to work (after supposedly be slated to run in 2006)

ETA: The website says the monorail started running in May..... I go 1-2 times weekly, and have never seen it run. As far as I knew, the track wasn't even complete! I'll have to investigate. Could be that I stopped paying attention... that certainly happened with the rest of the crazy stuff there!

Well, I have started my "healthy" eating again. So far, I haven't had any snacks today, I've had about 60 oz. of water and only one bottle of pepsi (24 oz). I think I will make it through the day.

I will start eating breakfast every morning again, will try to drink 60-80 oz. water, and only one bottle of pepsi every day. I'm not making any more commitments than that right now.

I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, Soup at Hand and a tiny ciabatta (just a bit bigger than a donut hole - my boss bought a whole bag) for lunch, organic yogurt for a snack, pasta with meat sauce and a slice of garlic bread for dinner. Water to drink (well, I had coffee this morning).

In addition to my other bad habits I have a bad habit of falling asleep on the couch with the lamp on. I will sleep there until 2 AM or so, then move to the bedroom when DH is getting ready for work. I don't know for sure, but I bet sleeping with the light on probably does weird things to my metabolism. Even if it doesn't, getting up after 5 hours and changing locations probably isn't giving me the most beneficial rest.

Dadboss just e-mailed the pics of Princess at the neighborhood Halloween party. She is so cute I can not even stand it!
They had a Sleeping Beauty pinata. Kind of barbaric to hang the poor girl from a tree and beat her with sticks until she breaks open.

Sorry if I seem morbid but this really made me laugh out loud
