This store is sounding familiar, Jennifer. We used to shop at a wonderful grocery store outside of Dayton called Lofino's that was a lot like you are describing. I wonder if they are one and the same?
Nope, definitely not. Jungle Jim's is on the Cincinnati beltway (275) and was started out of the back of a truck in.... the 70's(?) in Hamilton - by a Miami alum, no less!

If Lofino's is what I'm thinking of, it does offer some selection (similar to what our local grocers now carry, with organic and international crazes) but nothing like Jungle Jim's. JJ's is now something like 7 acres inside and offers 20+ departments, all of good size. There's even a monorail taken from King's Island - along with lots of other things from there - although it's yet to work (after supposedly be slated to run in 2006)
ETA: The website says the monorail started running in May..... I go 1-2 times weekly, and have never seen it run. As far as I knew, the track wasn't even complete!
