Jennifer, I have seen you mention Jumping Jims a couple of times now.
I saw it mentioned once on the Travel Channel as one of the largest grocery stores in the US.
I am tempted to drive down there sometime to check it out. It looks really cool with all the displays! I bet Leighanna would love it!
We might have to plan to "bump" into you sometime!
Noah waited until I was asleep before he gave me a 12:30 a.m. wake-up call. Little Stinker!
Then the poor baby swallowed some phlegm and threw up all over me at 6:00 a.m. He wasn't even congested yesterday! He fell right back to sleep after this incident, even while I washed his face. I had to jump in the shower right away, but at least I'm ready for ballet.
It's a cold morning, with a high of only 45. Tomorrow is supposed to be even colder and Alyssa has a 10:00 a.m. field trip to a pumpkin farm. Brrrrr!
It's supposed to warm up to 65 on Halloween though.
Enough rambling. Have a great day DDA!![]()
OHHHHHH! JUNGLE Jims! I thought as I was typing that it sounded "off"!Was Leighanna jumping around as you were typing this morning?![]()
Jungle Jims is really cool, but for some reason, I've only gone there once!![]()
If you plan a trip, keep me in the loop, please!
And, that Bo Peep costume is AWESOME!
O.K. We will have to plan a "grocery" shopping date then! That place sounds realy cool!Oh my gosh, she'd love it! JJ's is a great grocery store, but it was definitely just an 'attraction' as a kid. My sister and I both grew up asking to go there!
They have an audio animatronic (but think early... country bears-esque, no jack sparrow!) Elvis impersonating bear that sings.... they have the "Cereal Band" (cereal 'mascot' animatronics singing), this giant campbell's soup can that swings and sings... and tons more things like that. They also have candy from around the world (Epcot has nothing on their UK chocolate section!), lots of fun/strange foods and labels in various languages. It's really fun, however silly that sounds!
If you do come down, let me know!![]()

And as a matter of fact, Miss Leighanna WAS jumping up and down on her bed this morning! How'd you know?
I will definitely let you know when I make the trip down!
Thanks for the complement on the Bo Peep!
From your pictures last night, Kevins chicken costume was pretty clever too!![]()

I mapquested it. A little under and hour and half there. Definitely doable as a day trip! And, as I was taking Leighanna to school this morning, our gas prices dropped again. $2.19 a gallon. Definitely lower than what I thought I would EVER see again.
Off to bed, I have to work again tonight, and then I have 5 days off!![]()
Have a great day DDA!
Good morning DDA!
I love all the pictures posted yesterday.![]()
Glynis -- sending PD and prayers to you for the service.
We warmed up to 80 yesterday, but it's cool out now, especially with the wind. I think it will warm up to 65, though. I need to get out more jeans and warm-up pants for the kids.
Randy is going to run to the school today for the homecoming pep rally. (I think it's today instead of Friday because of halloween activities at the school.) Jake was picked to hand a flower to one of the homecoming nominees. I have to go to an appt. with Merrie's daughter Maverick. She's seeing a pulmonary specialist for the first time, they require an adult and Merrie is in Canada doing a training. We have soccer practices after school and I'm sure tons of homework.
Have a great day everyone!
Morning DDA!
Gas in Streetsboro Ohio on Sunday: 2.03!!!!!!!!!! That was around 9am - by 4pm it was back up to 2.09.
Have a great day everyone!!!
now for a totally personal question:
I have never had to ask for reference letters and a position has opened up at a foundation that wants 3 written business "type" references. Would asking 2 of my volunteers be the wrong ones to ask? Or just one?
Kristine - So Christopher survived his camping/due ranch thing?
DS would think the swamp guy was very cool. We watched some Halloween stuff on Travel Channel last night about the spookiest haunted houses (the theatrical kind, not the real kind).
