Nope. I bought a hot chocolate maker at Walmart last year. We use Swiss Miss mix that we buy in a big can, add water and turn on the pot. It makes great hot chocolate in a very short time

Does it taste any different than microwaving a cup of water and stirring in the Swiss Miss? I have to use milk with mine though. I can't stand runny hot cocoa.

I have a very bad sore throat and my stomach was upset last night. My stomach was fine all day but my throat is getting worse.

Must be going around. I have slight congestion and the drainage down my throat has caused me to strain to talk, so I'm talking very softly. I told the kids that they needed to be very good tonight because I can't yell at them. They actually have been. Nicholas even helped Alyssa with her homework. The surprising thing is that she LET him.

I hope all of you feel better soon, respiratory illnesses SCARE me.

I had an appointment with my pulmonologist today, all is well and I got my flu shot. He wants to try and decrease my meds but we are going to wait until after the cold and flu season.

Glad to hear that you are doing well. I get my flu shot next week.

I booked the flights for August. I explained my plan to DH about checking his bag in my name and then trying to get him on our flight as a stand-by, and he thought that was good. The flights for now through January are on sale for $198 (before taxes & fees). I know from watching for DH's flights last year that the summer flights never dropped down as low as the fall & winter flights. I might have jumped the gun, but at least it is done and I don't have to stress about it. Instead of costing $842 they cost $638, which is a decent savings.

Im with you---Around 2, i lost my voice alomst completely--i sound HORRIBLE! i told my kids they had to be really good because i couldnt raise my voice--they were!! They kept teling me i sounded horrible! now my voice is worse than that!

No, not really. It does do a really good job of mixing it though so there are no clumps. It is really easy to make 4 cups at a time too

It wasn't as busy tonight as we had expected. Thankfully I did alright with the customers that I had so it made it worth going in. I walked through the door and all 3 kids needed something I got them all settled and the cat started in, followed shortly by Chris meowing like the cat He was jealous that everyone else was getting my attention

Love the hair, it's one that we used to do for dance competitions and recitals.
I also liked the double french braids, they look great and stay in place even with all the dancing.
