This has been Chuck since Becky left! I think he wants some attention. What do you think? :lmao:

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Also, I finally decided what to get my nephew for Christmas. He doesn't "need" anything but that is not the point. I had to find something that he would enjoy without adding to all the stuff he already has.

I bought this interactive little guy (he purrs and closes his eyes and goes to sleep when you lay him on his back):

And I am going to include an annual family membership to the Boston Zoo with him.

So cute, especially with the membership!

This coming Friday, I am gonna finish the Christmas shopping for the cousins.

Good for you! I have a few things left, which is where I was months ago! :rotfl:

Aaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh! I just read on the DVC forums that you can make ADR's as of yesterday through March 22. The last I heard you couldn't make them until November sometime. I am going to have to call this afternoon to see if I can get our reservations. I sure hope that I haven't missed the coveted LeCellier that we want!

OMG!! I was on the phone with them THREE DAYS AGO and they said November 19th!!!!!

Catch you all later! :sad2:

So I go this e-mail from the school. It is Drug Awareness week so the kids can wear different themed items.

Monday - Crazy Hat
Tuesday - Camoflage
Wedensday - Mismatched socks
Thursday - Team jersey or shirt
Friday - Sunglasses

OK, so on Tuesday are they allowed to be out of uniform? DS has a camoflage shirt (I think).
I bought him a Dallas Stars jersey to wear last year and that was the only time he ever wore it. It better still fit!

I have to admit that the idea of eating cream of anything as real soup sounds disgusting. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

on of my volunteers has brought in her lunch the last couple of weeks...cream of mushroom soup...she eats it without adding anything to it :scared:

the cream soups are for adding to recipes not eating on their own.:upsidedow

Well, I am off to look at vacuum cleaners. Linens n Things is closing here.

Need a few groceries too. Be back later.

linens n' things is closing everywhere...I am hoping to wait until further discounts to get the girls new comforters.

It was red ribbon week here last week. Abi had fun figuring out each day.

We had 27 trick or treaters, that is about average.

Nonsense. ;)
I really like cream of chicken soup by itself. I like to drink it from a mug.

I e-mailed back to the mom who sent the list to ask her what the deal is with uniforms. DS does have a camo shirt in there. He actually has 2, one green and one gray but the green one may be too small. So now I need to know what pants he can wear. It seems like they could wear jeans with their team jerseys last year.

Okay, I've got to do a load of laundry, help put the trash out and fix dinner. Be right back.:dance3:

Nope I didn't take it that way, and hope no one else would.

ETA: I knew she was kidding and so was I. After rereading this, I sounded a little defensive and don't want anyone thinking it was anything more than teasing on my part. :lmao:

Becky & Ryan just left. It was great seeing her. She has grown up so much in the last year. I'm so proud of her for going off on her own so far from home. She really has become more independent.

:goodvibes I'm so glad you enjoyed your time together!

Stephanie and I have

40 days until we leave for our happy place.

42 days until the cruise.

46 days until we get back to the World :cool1: :thumbsup2  :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: :jumping1: :drinking1 :jumping2: :tinker: :mickeyjum

:cool1: Woohoo!

are people that superstitious over the number 13?? I must be an oddball... I just don't see it....any more that the whole black cat, ladder, cracked mirror, spill salt, rabbit foot etc etc etc

Here's one for you...I turned 13, on Friday the 13th....who knew I'd make it another 27 years

I'm not at all superstitous either... but I was relieved to hear that was what was going on! :rotfl:

Here is a question for you travel experts: Is it a "bad" thing to book one way airline tickets on two different airlines? I am finding good fares on 12/24 on one airline and good fares on another airline for 12/27. I would hate for Kathrin to have bad luck with the trip if I did that, though!

We do it often. Supposedly it "flags" you for heightened security, but I've never noticed a difference at all.

I am making easy meals this week, and they are coincidentally inexpensive because they are homemade, Stephanie. Spaghetti sauce, chicken & noodles, vegetable beef soup and chili. They are all in the crock pot too!

Yum!

Here's a preview of Mo and Lucy in their costumes. I don't have one of Emma on my camera from yesterday. I'll have to wait until Dana sends me the pics from her camera.

Mo as Barbie in the Island Princess (She better start praying for warm weather on Friday!)

..

Too sweet!!

And so I can be the first of I'm sure many I'm quoting my own post and saying:

Ewwwwww!

I had to wait a while longer than usual to speak with an agent, but was able to make all of our dining reservations as planned. I am just glad I was bored one day and worked them out, I hadn't really intended to until the beginning of November! Thank you Vicki, for posting!

We're in Ottawa hanging with the inlaws for about 36 hours. My MIL drives me nuts, as you all know, and she started IMMEDIATELY doing so as soon as we arrived.... but she sure loves these girls. They have bassinets set up and she had gifts, and toys and highchairs and books and all sorts of other grandmotherly stuff to spoil them

Off for dinner! Have a great evening, and be sure to leave a forwarding address! ;)
