It sounds like you have your departure planned to the minute. I hope that this is the best trip ever for all of you. I know how hard you've planned and how much Terra is looking forward to having Daddy with her and who can blame her?

That I do. Mainly though because everyone else in the family (save the BILs) is leaving to drive to Destin this morning for my cousin's wedding. There were several mom-helping things I needed to fit in as well as getting their rental cars figured out and an insane number of appts and meetings for me this week. I never have meetings, rarely have appts and only have MOPS twice a month. This week I had 6 things total.

I think I am about ready to go off the deep end.

Diva called me this afternoon to tell me she thinks she has the job at the nursing home. I guess she just wants to be friends. Scared me half to death when I saw who was calling. Thought something was wrong!

Mom starts Taxol tomorrow. I talked to her tonight. I think she is a little worried about the possibility of an allergic reaction. I hope it goes OK.

Sounds like some improvements with Diva, which could be really nice. Good luck to your mom today!

Tia - When do you leave? If I haven't missed you, have a WONDERFUL trip! I'm so incredibly excited for you all to finally get to experience your happy place with Phil!

If we're ready by then, we'll leave at 1 tomorrow to go to a Talk Like a Pirate event at the park. Then we'll pick Phil up at work and head to the airport. Our flight is at 7ish and we'll be in Orlando by 10! I think it's going to be great! The plans are there, I've got everything worked out in my head to let Terra show him her favorites at each park, and then we'll be ready to do the rest after he heads home.

Well, I've got to get going and load zillions of kids in the car. Chris and I are delivering all kids to the rental cars at the mall so they can get on the road. Of course, they were hoping to be on the road as we speak, but haven't left the rental company yet. Oh well. The later they go tonight the more kids will be asleep.

Small world of Disney too...I had a Daisy parent meeting for Terra's troop last night. I found out that one of the girls that will be in our troop lives just around the corner from us. The mom mentioned leaving town tomorrow a couple of times and I had mentioned Mom would do our registration as I was on vacation. Turns out, they are going to WDW and will be at MNSSHP the same night as us.

Catch you all after I finish packing! If I'm on before that, someone get after me! Happy Thursday, DDA.

That new Travel Channel show about DVC is on tonight!

And I teach until 8:30 tonight.... I won't be able to watch it. It is also on at midnight, but I bet I will be asleep by then. Looks like there are LOTS of Disney shows on the Travel Channel today!

Yeah, well I'm here and I can't stand it! Still, I was having DIS withdrawal!

I was supposed to get the girls 3 month pictures taken earlier and thought I'd have a new signature by now, so I just threw this one there becuase I was tired of the old one. I can't remember for the life of me what had them so worked up, but we love this picture. We actually got a large print of it for our room, even though it's just a snapshot, and is certainly a little unorthodox compared to smiling portraits!

Ok, so remember I'm way behind, so forgive me if I end up asking stupid, outdated questions!


Tammi - so how was the Steelers game (aside from the weird weather)? I haven't even looked at scores or anything from the weekend. {ETA: I see the Steelers won! } We'll catch up with episodes of PTI from this week, eventually! (At least the last couple of days). When are your travel dates? December, right? I got an email from Airtran about $20 off but only through November. Congrats on booking airfare! The birthday details of your trip sound fabulous! Nicholas is one lucky boy! I loved your solution to Eric's mashed potato/butter issue! Salad without dressing... brilliant! I'm sorry to hear things are rough, with all of your scheduling. Hang in there... just through October right, then you get a bit of respite?

The game was rather uneventful. Steelers' scored and that was it. No nail-biting, on the edge of your seat moments.

We are traveling Nov. 30-Dec. 6. I think I finally have everything purchased/organized. The only thing left to do is renew my AP, which expires Oct. 18.

This schedule will continue at least until the end of October. But then playoffs start, so they could conceibably play up until Tday.

I loved reading your blog. The way you write is so entertaining. You should pen a book! I'm glad you made it through those few days relatively unscathed. I didn't realize that Kyle had to stay at the hospital when he is on call. I thought he could be home, but just tied to a pager, and have to go in if necessary.
