You have every right to brag, as well as be emotional! That is excellent! Congratulations to you both! :cool1:  :dance3:
Bear with me while I brag...

More than seven years after we learned our bright child has significant learning problems, (ADHD, dyslexia, verbal expressive disorder) we got his first report card...

And he got nothing below a 94!

I cried when the e-mail came in, I guess with relief that we made the right decision for him. I know my Mom must have an extra big smile right about now as well, as she took a big part in Andrew's schooling, grandparents day, picking him up, meeting his teachers. I guess that's another reason I'm so emotional. I also know this is only the beginning of what will be difficult years leading up to high school graduation, but I'm thankful that he's doing well now.

I can't imagine what I'll be like when he graduates...

(I know I could ask our resident TA on here this question, but I am hoping she is off doing something trivial like enjoying her next few days of partying!)

That being said... I have two packages booked for our December trip, as well as a room only reservation for one night. One of the packages is an AP one with DDP (for Bob and me) and the other is a MYW package with dining (for the girls). Can packages be converted to room only reservations or do you have to cancel the package and book the "rooms only" separately?

After seeing how much we cannot eat any more Bob and I are seriously thinking that with the Club lounge and our normal meals (using DDE/TiW) we will not need all those food credits!
I have no idea, but I bet Elizabeth knows. ;) :cutie:

Disney and AARP Working Together
On September 9, Disney and AARP announced a new agreement to bring the generations together for celebrations. (It ties right into the new theme for 2009, too!) As of now, AARP members should expect discounts in online shopping and special event discounts (think Food and Wine Festival or Flower and Garden Festival special events). Look for special initiatives directed to grandparents in the future.

Good Morning DDA!

Welcome home Elin!

The photo of you and Bob is wonderful!

Jennifer, sorry the girls are sick!:scared:

I have to teach in Leighanna's class today. I signed up as a volunteer for Junior Achievment. Leighanna is excited, I just hope I don't mess it up too bad!

You'll be fine Tom!!

You will be a blubbering mess....just like the rest of us on our kids graduation days.
:flower3:

That's pretty darned impressive looking! I am assuming it has no innards...

you assume right....it had most of the parents in the stands fooled (until the poor piano player had to figure out why it wasn't connected.

Very cool! And I am touched that we were all part of your window shopping trip! :goodvibes

Abi saw that picture and said that was so cool....so when Glynis has a spare moment I am going to have her go back and get the giraffe one for my baby:goodvibes

Elin just emailed me! (I had asked her about the "special" gift cards from the F&WF before she left.)

I thought it was an ingenious offering!

The top half of the reloadable gift card snaps off to leave a small card on a strap!

Chris came home from work a little while ago. He isn't feeling well. It must be bad because he never comes home sick. He and Colby are taking a nap. I need to pick at least Nick up as school since he has an orthodontist appointment at 3. Hunter can either ride the bus home or come with me.

I hope Chris is feeling better today!

:rotfl2: at our house it was Bob with the bows on his head!

well, there is still time....

I can just imagine trying to stick my two big kids under the Christmas tree...though if I tell Cassidy there's money underneath she'd be there in a heartbeat. :rotfl:

Elin, Stephanie and I really like CG. I think that is my favorite place to eat. Our first time we had a window seat and were able to watch Wishes. Our server was fantastic. I am really looking forward to December.

I hope you have a wonderful time in December there, Terry!

CG used to be our favorite onsite restaurant until we had an horrible experience on Christmas Eve 2003. Because the issues were never resolved we swore we would not go back for a very long time. I guess we figured that 5 years was very long time! Bob was still not as happy as in the past. He feels as if many of the staff there are snotty and snooty. I tend to agree but we did have acceptable service both at the bar and at our table. And our food was fine too.

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of
the rascally behavior that was going on.

So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time.

When he returned, he told God, 'Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not.

God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion.'

So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time.

When the angel returned he went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true.
The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good.'

God was not pleased.
So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because he wanted to encourage them,
and give them a little something to help them keep going.

Do you know what the e-mail said?

Okay, I was just wondering, because I didn't get one either.
