DDA Chapter 11

Anne Marie - Great pics. Terra and I are enjoying them! I can't believe that we can no say we're going to WDW THIS MONTH!!

gggggggGGGGG! (Sorry for the detour, Terra was learning about the "shift" key)!

Janet - What a scary site to come home too. It's going to look so great though when he's finished.

Debbie - Glad you still have power so far. Keep safe.

Janet wow that is messy how big was your kitchen before and how big will it be now?

Anne Marie--great pictures!!

So i have been going crazy! I lost my keys for my car. I realized this yesterday when i went to leave, but was not in my car since friday--so im looking EVERYWHERE and they are nowhere to be found---of course, my car hhad to have one of those big keys with the chip that is 100.00 to replace so im trying to look everythwere i have been and they are nowhere!

I am trying to decide if I want to make the girls canvas bags for MNSSHP or use their plastic bags we got at Walmart last year.

Jennifer - each of you will receive a bag when you enter the MK for the party. If you want to take less stuff with you, you could easily just use those.

So what is everyone else doing for this Labor Day Holiday?

Moving furniture back into Jacob's room and hopefully setting up the crib. Unfortunately, Alan got called into work, so I have to wait until he gets home to do the crib.

Nothing else fun. It's way too cold for a picnic or bbq today! We've got rain coming down by the bucketload! It rained nonstop from 10:30-3:30 last night, and then stopped, and it's just now starting up again.

The kids and I may venture out for happy meals at McDonald's. They have Clone Wars toys and Jacob says he "really needs" them!

I can't wait to see pictures! And how nice of your neighbors to provide so much for you all!

We have the best neighbors. The funny thing is, they are all mostly my age, but are so excited to have a new baby coming. They are all so relieved that it's not them, that they are ecstatic to celebrate for me! This little guy will have so many "aunts" and "uncles" in this neighborhood, that I won't ever have to worry about him getting into any trouble!:rotfl:

Deb - Humpty Dumpty and the lifeguard are perfect costumes for Chris and Hunter. Now your men are covered. What about you?

Mike Seidel from the Weather Channel is here in town, Jim Cantore is in Houma, LA. You don't want to be the town that Jim goes to, he always goes to the "hot spot".

I just watched Mike Seidel on TWC and it looks yucky at your house, Debbie. I hope you are all OK!

okay if I cant decide on what design I want to put on their bags

luckily we are flying SW and we get 2 bags per ticket plus carry ons

We love Pooh here! That is going to be so cute! My two boys are 8 years apart and need to share a room. We've had a few juxtapositions like that over the years.

I will! He hasn't been reading quite as much the last couple of days. I think he wants a few days of complete mindlessness before school starts even though he actually loves to read. Please let me know what you think of The Host. I've been debating on whether to buy it or not. My dh feels the same way yours does about hard cover books.

I'm just happy that Jacob is willing to share a room with his baby brother! I know that if I were 9 and had to share a room with a baby, I might not feel so happy about it. We'll see how he feels in a few months, right?

I can understand the mindless days before school starts. My kids did the same thing. It helps them get in the mood for school to start!

I haven't started "The Host" yet. While I was debating on buying it, I picked up a copy of "The Confessions of Nat Turner" at the library. I'm in the middle of it, and it's really gripping! I've got to finish it, hopefully today, then I can start "The Host." My neighbors all say that it's better than "Twilight". It's geared more to an adult reader than teens, so it should be interesting. I guess it's quite sci-fi, and I'm not really into that, but oh well. If I don't like it, I'll give it to my niece for Christmas. I know it's on her wish list.

Here's a little video of the wind this morning, it's quite a bit harder already. You can see small branches on the roof.

(yes, I'm a little crazy myself)

I'll try and get more as the day wears on.

You crazy woman, you! Stay inside!! :goodvibes
