I found my keys! welll, my mom did.. i looked EVERYWHERE, including the dumb places like the fridge, cabinets, etc. She found them on my brothers desk--i have no idea how they ended up in there though!

We went bowling yesterday.....I am so thrilled to have my own ball. We got almost a full 3 games in....the third one stunk for me but my average was 130 before that....I don't think I had ever scored that high on a game before

On the agenda today is laundry and fashion show to see what is truly needed at Savers to finish up the wardrobes for winter. Then shopping at Savers 1/2 off sale....I lead a very interesting life don't I??

Katie made us a yummy dessert last night that was really easy, so I thought I'd share with you all.

Easy Toffee

Line a cookie sheet with heavy duty foil and spray with Pam. Place a layer of saltine crackers on the cookie sheet. In a heavy saucepan, combine 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Pour over saltines spreading to cover. Place in a 400 degree oven for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1 bag milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips. Let sit a couple of minutes and then spread to coat. Place in fridge to harden, and then break in pieces.

Yummy!!!!

Theresa - I had a good game bowling yesterday too. Thought it was going to stink and then got a strike and spare in the 10th frame to bring it up. We ended up getting in 2 games. The kids usually fizzle after one so I was surprised we got that much in. We actually had another 30 min we could have played, but everyone was waiting with dinner ready for us at home so we had to go.

Yes, it is the character spot directly across the street from TSM. There is a cute line queue with cut outs to take pictures in & then at the end buzz & woody are there on "andy's bed".

It usually takes us over an hour to do one game so for the girls to finish a 3rd game and Jim and I into the 9th frame. But we all fizzled out in the last game... so it's probably a good thing we aren't on a league!! I thought it was a great fundraising idea!!

Anne Marie-welcome home. How are you feeling? Great photos. I ran out of hard drive space so I can't get all my photos off my camera. The apple store has a program where you pay $99/year for 1 hour a week of one on one time with a tech. There is an apple about 1 mile from my office. I think I'll ask my boss if its OK to do an exteneded lunch hour once a week and just work a longer day. It would be easier to go at lunch because the traffic is heavier after work. I need to get an external hard drive and figure out how to create different libraries in iPhoto then I can move onto photoshop......

Robyn- Congrats to Lucy!

Lindsay-hope you find some sun!

Janet-your kitchen/dining room is going to look great!

Jen-glad your Mom found your key. You're going to so great as a Kindergarten teacher!!!! What lucky kids who get you!!!





I'm still in a funk. I think we had our last family trip. DH just doesn't enjoy Disney and that makes me cranky when I'm there with someone who isn't happy. He did enjoy meals on this trip which he hadn't always done and even a few things-mini golf, Living Seas, and Mission Space (green), and meeting DDA friends but was mostly miserable. He skipped 4 park days so I didn't have to buy him an AP but he HATED that even more than going to the parks. SO....I'll continue to go one on one with the kids but I don't see a family trip for a while. I do think he would like say Jan or Feb or Nov better than August but I'm ready for my next planned trip (Feb) to be without him.

I cut out an outfit for Emma's first day of school so I really have to go work on that.

I go back to work tomorrow and things are going to be crazy!!!! It is my crazy time anyways but my new supervisor's full time assistant had a baby while I was away and it would take too long to train a temp so my boss, I and another part timer will have to pick up her work for the next 12 weeks. I don't know how much I'll be able to check in.
