So I got home from the wedding after midnight. It was very nice, it was Mexican themed and they had a Mariachi band which was a surprise for the bridal party.

Today I went to Urgent Care as last night I overturned my right ankle in a hole. After sitting, waiting, exams, and x-rays I have a fracture in my 5th metatarsal. I currently have a temporary splint on my right foot and crutches. I need to make an appointment to go to an orthopedic specialist.

This is going to be for awhile.

I have two and a half weeks until I leave. Let's just say my trip might be interesting. I am going come heck or high water. Now I have so many things to figure out that I have not dealt with before. Now we have to fill out the medical form and figure out Disneyland stuff. I will probably end up in a wheelchair for at least part of the trip. Not how I wanted to spend my trip.

Becky - Hopefully this is not a long term problem. Looks to be fairly common location for a problem so hopefully it has a fairly common "fix" so your work and trip are not affected much!

Nothing... Except that rumor has it that bookings won't begin until late August!

ETA: Nothing is to be published until the weekend before. And that rumor is also saying that no PFTS the first weekend

I am so sorry to hear this Becky. Plus, you have been doing so getting your miles lately.

My 5k was supposed to be next Sunday. I am going to contact them and find out if someone can pick up my stuff, as I can not be there. I know they will not do refunds or mail shirts. But I would imagine someone could pick up my shirt and socks.

Theresa I am going to be the opposite of everyone else & say go with option c. I know it is best to keep as many teeth as possible, but sometimes doing away with a few is much better in the long run. Good luck with your decision.

Becky I am so sorry to hear about your ankle. that it heals quickly!

Lindsay I had read about the ticket price increase, I just hope it is not to much. The boys have one day base tickets that I will be adding on days to when we arrive, so I will not be able to buy before the increase

& to all I missed!

Yesterday was a very exhausting day, finally made it to bed around 11pm & was back up at 6am today

Riley & his team lost 2 games yesterday & won one. Their 1st game this morning was at 8am & we were all still half asleep I think lol but the game got very interesting & got our adrenaline going. They won this game in a tie breaker, the next game they lost so we are done till next weekend.

We decided to spend another night here, so we will head home tomorrow. I just woke up from a nice nap & now need to get cleaned up so we can go get something for dinner.

Yesterday during downtime between games we went shopping at Kohls. I lucked out & they were having early bird specials of up to 60% off I guess my new dishwasher can wait a little longer

i was just looking at my photopass and hate that we didnt take more..there are about 20 "decent" ones and then i am going to play with the borders and stuff..but definietly not enough to buy a cd...We tried to get alot but it rained so much...we looked like drowned rats haha

the week before? how would you book it?

The list is supposed to come out on a reported August 21, and booking is to begin at 7:00 a.m. on August 25. At least that is the latest rumor that I have read.

There is no PFTS the first weekend because of the Bocuse d'Or competition that will be held at World Showplace that weekend. Tickets for that coveted show may possibly be available but I am guessing will be very expensive if offered.
