DD-wears her new school clothes

Grrr. I remember when I was in h.s. I didn't touch my new clothes till school started.

My dd-15 and dd-21 both have been wearing their new clothes for the last week. My dd-21 who does buy her own clothes, I bought her one outfit for college told me she needs one more shopping spree before she goes back.

My dd-15 told me she feels she only has 1/2 of her wardrobe for school.

Ackkk! Sometimes I think school shopping is more expensive than Christmas Shopping.

I have the same problem with DD14. I used to put mine away and not wear them until the first day of school. We went out and bought a pair of Abercrombie Jeans (she's worn them twice) and some American Eagle jeans. Worn those too. I just cringe every time I see her in them. I guess I'm worried she'll wear them out before school even starts.

I'm just too darned uptight!

I haven't let dd wear her school clothes yet, even though she asks me constantly! She's only 4, so I still have some say in what she does.
