DD not staying in our room - credits on KTTW?

Hi everyone! We are planning our next trip to Disney and it is our second time on the DDP. We figured it out pretty well last trip but this year there is an added twist to our plans!

We are going to be a grand gathering. My nuclear family is a family of 5. We decided to stay in a standard deluxe room this trip which only sleep 4. My oldest dd is going to stay in a nearby room with my parents. I expect we will have most if not all of our meals together. However, if my family of 5 should decide to break off for our own meal, will 12 yo DD's KTTW allow her to use her DDP credits?

I am concerned that the credits can only be accessed from an adult's card.

Either your DD will have to be on your parents reservation with a DP or your parents and DD and you all will have to be on the same reservation with a DP - your DD can not be separate - or hooked to you since she is sleeping in your parents' room.

If all that is worked out, yes, your DD will be able to access her own credits on her KTTW card.

Thanks Laura! DD is definitely included on my parent's reservation and we all have the DDP. We have a total of 3 rooms that are all linked in the system and all of us (11 in total) have the DDP.


I think for our TS meals, we will all be eating together. But it is possible we could be doing our own thing a time or two and would want to grab a CS meal or snack. I certainly don't mind paying cash but don't want to do so and then have credits left at the end of our trip. However, sounds like it won't be an issue as long as she has her KTTW!

I am so darn excited! Can't wait!

All credits are accessible from all KTTW cards including the child's. Have her KTTW card with you to pay for her meals.
