DD Graduated

I hope your daughter listens to your advice

Dads know best!

Wishing her success with her future
We have read about her for years and feel she is like family!

We want the best for her too

Robert, that’s such a shame things haven’t worked out as planned..........she has a talent.

Let her chill out for a while, regroup and see what unfolds.........you never know what’s around the corner......and it’ll be lovely for you all to have her home for a while.....

Sending her many hugs.........

Thanks guys, yeah it's been tough for her but has stuck at it but, it's hard for her not being from a ra ING ba K ground and she k ows that. Her coach says she needs to give her the rides to get race experience, so hopefully she gets her driving licence over the next few weeks as that will make a big difference. Will let her find or pick where she goes next time and hopefully has not put her off.

DD starts work on Monday goes down near Dublin tomorrow. She passed her driving test on Monday and go a car on Wednesday (something else to worry about lol) so it's a girl trainer who started about a year ago called Sarah Lynam, trains at her dad's yard, a good trainer called Edward Lynam. She watched her races and while not looking for a Jockey asked if she wanted licence took out, but she said wait to see what she thinks after she has been riding, but don't think she is that bothered after all the let downs. So she told Charlotte to come down see if she likes it and if they like her for 2 weeks, and if everyone is happy it's not a problem. So she is back working doing what she loves which is the main thing

Great news on your daughter!

She is now doing what she loves to do

Thanks Mac, had. Good first day, although such a difference, no mucking out, she just rides in the mornings and feeds in the evenings. And seems happy

Glad to hear she’s doing so well Robert........

It’s been a long haul for her.........so I’m sure she’s finally found something perfect for her........:thumbsup2

Thanks schumgirl, it has been as they have used her but went here to a new trainer only been going a year, asked about licence and said that wasn't important, think she wants to get back to what she wants rather than trainers thinking they want a licence then using that, so if she offers the licence in future she will take it. Lo es it and only there 2 days, works 1 weekend in 3 and the one she works she gets an afternoon of during that week, so really y good.

She will be so happy to get back to Kildare!

Everything will eventually fall into place for her

FB_IMG_1536348082338.jpg Charlotte settled in well and loves where she is. She rides out for her trainer Sarah and her dad Eddie Lynam so really happy there, even arranged to take her own horse down to a yard not far from her, so result for me haha. She said if the licence is offered she is not sure if she would take it as would be lucky to get 3 rides a year, her friend had 1 ride in 3 years, so not keen on girls, if your family doesn't do flat racing. But loves where she is only 2 hrs from us so not to bad. Her trainer has only about 15horses at the minute, but will increase and had her 2nd winner yesterday and Charlotte got best turned out, so got herself 75euro and because it won she got another 100 euro plus 2 hours overtime so not to bad. Pic with her trainer and winner

Lovely picture of Charlotte.........

Hope it goes well for her and long as she’s happy, I know you both will be happy too!!

Thanks, very happy so no good being somewhere or doing something your not happy with. And she works with some great ppl, any news will post but think this is where she will stay (hopefully)

True Mac, she has not been this happy for a while. Just worked her so much knowing she would do it for the horses. Lot happier, and so much time off which she never got, but kids eh don't listen to us when you try to tell them
