and I feel really sad and lost :sad2:
She has been at nursery since she was 19months so I did not expect to feel like this.

She is happy though which is the most important thing, I just hope she enjoys her self, she is only in for a couple of hours today so will be home for lunch.

Oh bless,

I have just finished ironing DD school uniform it is sooooo small, she goes on Thursday for the morning.

Then 3 days next week.

They must be the same age.

Ahh bless :grouphug:

My middle DD has just started secondary school today, she looked so "lost" in her new uniform! :rotfl:

aw starting secondary school has gotta be one of the scariest moves....because its possibly the first time you're fully aware of the implications, and because the schools really are so much bigger than the primaries

She is home now, and said she enjoyed her self.
She doesn't know any of the children as she went to a nursery a couple of miles away from the school. Hopefully she will make friends soon.

Glad shes home safe and sound. i think its always the mums that get more upset than the children, I was a mess for my first two and I'm sure I will be again with my youngest, so well done, you both made it through :thumbsup2

I'm with you on this one, my DD starts secondary school tomorrow and I feel awful about it, but she's fine!! It doesn't seem like 5 minutes since she was starting reception class too!

They always cope better than we expect them to, its us that sit worrying when they're off having a great time!!

Lynn :goodvibes

I'm glad she had a good first day. She will settle in fine and love it. Us mums worry too much :) I am very bad for that, Monday was DD first day in year 1. They now go in the bigger infant playground, i soent all day worrying that some of the older children might bump into her and push her over by accident. Shes very clumsy on her feet. :)

Glad she enjoyed her first day :) I think it's natural to feel apprehensive even though she's been to nursery before cos school is so different.

I'm sure I'll be the same next year. They just grow up so fast.

Glad her first day went well. :thumbsup2 Hope she settles in quickly.

Sara. :)

Glad it went well. I am sure she'll have loads of new friends before the week is out!
