I can't even have it!! What's up with that??
I never really tell them what I want for my birthday.. I usually tell them not to even bother.. The one time I DO tell them what I want, they go and say I can't have it..
All I asked for was..............................................
An enclosed Amish buggy and a horse!!
Now really - is that asking too much? Their back yard is plenty big enough for them to keep a horse back there.. The "kinner" could take care of him.. I'd save loads of money on car insurance; gas; registration; I wouldn't have to renew my drivers license.. What's with these people??
Spoiled! That's what they are.. Just plain spoiled.. All caught up in this modern stuff.. They wouldn't even have to go that far to GET the buggy.. On my way to another town yesterday I spotted a big barn called "The Blue Hen" - that sells Amish furniture - and right there on the front lawn was my gorgeous, shiny, black enclosed buggy!
Now I'm going to have to tell them to buy me something dumb like a few Amish documentary videos and books..
I can never have ANYTHING I want!!
(sob..choke..sniffle..)
----------------------
Okay - maybe I'm getting a "little" carried away with this Amish stuff..
But gee - don't ask me what I want and then tell me I can't have it.. That's downright cruel!
