Mom - 34 yrs and been coming since MK opened.
Megan - 7yr turning 8...going on 16yr. been coming almost yearly since 2yr

Day 1 3/20 - Got to BWI airport 11/2 hrs before flight. We were flying Airtran for the first time. We waited in line for all of 5 minutes. Check in was smooth and before we knew it we were done. Security went quick and then we had time to wait. My DD was so excited. This trip leaves Dad with the 2 younger siblings at home and DD gets Mom all to herself for her 8th birthday at WDW. She was a little nervous about flying but the excitement seemed to cover that. The flight was at 5:30 at night and was a little bumpy at times. My DD and I used the ear planes and unlucky for her one ear was really bothering her while descending. We arrived on time and Tiffany Towncar was waiting for us as we came off the escalator in baggage claim. He said Airtran is pretty slow on getting baggage on the belt. We waited approx. 10 minutes but then waited for him to get the car out of the garage. DD was getting very impatient to get to the All Star Movies and begin her adventure. It sure is a smooth ride in those towncars!

Arrived at check-in and didn't wait too long although I have never had a check-in take so long in my life! What is it they (Disney) have to do anyway? I used to work for hotels and if we had taken that long who knows what would have happened. We were only going to be there 2 days and asked for Ultimate passes starting the next day. Maybe the computers were really slow. He also didn't speak English very well which made it a little challenging. I also had gotten a really bad headache and could barely hold me head up. I just wanted to get our room. Well, to his credit, he must have seen I was not well and being very patient and he got us a great room! We were in the Fantasia Bldg 8757, ground floor and steps from the pool.

We put our things down and went wandering around. By 11pm my DD saw people swimming and decided she wanted to go in. I think she thought I would say no but this is what this trip was about...her! We got to bed by midnight. I was up all night with this pounding headache.

3/21 The next morning she woke at 6:00a and I knew she was not going back to bed. After I took some advil we went to the Food Court. It was crowded but didn't wait long and no problem with seats. Very efficient. We hung around a while waiting for me to feel better and then we ventured to Blizzard Beach. A cold front was expected so we thought this day would be the warmest.(That ended up not being true). We waited 20 minutes for a bus! All the other parks had a couple buses but not us. We waited in a long line for a locker and then headed to the tubes. We did the ride to the top of the mountain and I did not enjoy this. Headache, dizziness and that ride up didn't mix well. We waited a while for the family tube ride. The weather was cloudy and very breezy. The ride was lots of fun though. Then we went to the wave pool. DD loved this! She stayed in the wave pool most of the time. Then...rain...cool...breezy...she was freezing and didn't want to stay so we left.

We went back to the hotel and got our Enight tickets for that night. Hung around playing in the pool. Florida being what it is...of course it was now sunny. My DD got her hair wrapped and we left for MK at 5pm. Once again we waited 15-20minutes for a bus. We were not having much luck with the buses. We went to City hall to get our bands for e night and we were off. There is nothing like walking down Main Street to get you in the Disney spirit. We did a few things before e night began. My DD wanted to do Haunted Mansion badly so we went. I actually got spooked for the first time in years by the guy who was in the room that the walls stretch. As we were getting ready to leave the room I glanced to my left and he was standing over me staring at me with spooky eyes. He took me by surprise. I think my daughter loved that I got spooked and not her this time. It was fun though to feel a little scare. I couldn't believe how the park clears out for enight. We have never done an enight before. The weather was great. We were wearing shorts and short sleeves but it is going to get cold overnight. We went on Buzz, Haunted Mansion, and Thunder Mountain. It took a little while for DD to get on Thunder Mountain though. She was very afraid. We watched the ride for a few minutes and she realized it looked fun. Between my headache and vertigo, this ride did me in. DD was exhausted and I felt pretty darn sick so we headed back to hotel. DD played in the game room for a little and then we went to bed. Tomorrow we check out and into the Contemporary for our last 2 nights! We really enjoyed our stay here.
