dd 16th - present ideas?

its my dd 16th birthday at the end of aug ans she is moving out to live with my mum to attend the college she wants.

i would really like to buy her something special for her birthday, so if anyone has any ideas?

we are going to disney in july so any ideas of something to buy here or on holiday

It's my DD's 16th at the end of January and her pressie is a trip for the two of us to New York

I agree with a special piece of jewellery - or maybe a special day (have you swum with dolphins type thing) - how about a personal shopper for a couple of hours, giving her an allowance of dollars to spend at one of the nicer malls?
