I know as a DCP you get discounts at stores. Is it a lot of stores or just a few? Do you get discounts at the resturants or the water parks? I have never been to the water parks and hope to go while on the DCP. Thanks for the information.

I'm pretty sure you get a discount on all merchandise in the parks (and I think Disney Resorts too?). You also get a discount on park tickets at Company D including discounted Water Park, DisneyQuest, etc. tickets. If it has to do with Disney and is not quick service food, you usually get a discount on it, e.g. sit-down reservations, tours, PhotoPass packages.

Around the holidays the discounts increase, usually. The one guide line you should follow when it comes to the CM discount is you usually do not get a discount ever on quick-service locations (e.g. the fast food places and the food stalls, although you may rarely get lucky with those) The only place I have EVER gotten a discount is Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom, but nowhere else that I've tried (popcorn stands, turkey legs, other quick-service places) ever offer it. If you're at a table service restaurant, though, chances are they give you 20%, but they tack on the 18% gratuity on top of that, so it's like your discount is paying for your tip.

You also get a discount if you're at a drink stand that has pins and ect at it. They are considered merchandise stands :)

Also the basic rate is either 10 or 20% I forget for sure.

There is no discount at Quick Service locations in the parks, with the exception of Disney's Animal Kingdom, due to the very limited table service choices in that park. The Quick Service locations in Disney Resorts also honor the cast discount.

Water Park admission depends on the time of year. Some times, cast members get in free. Other times, they have to pay, but can purchase a ticket at a 50% discount, usually after a certain time of day.

CPs get discounts on everything that is merchandise except for "original items" like artist sketches, original paintings, and some higher priced art. Quick service in the parks generally does not accept discounts except for a few in animal kingdom. The resorts are hit and miss with quick service discounts. As was stated before you get 20% off at sit down restaurants with 18% tip added. You get a discount on Disney Quest tickets during the day but not when they reduce the price to the "half day" admission price in the late afternoon. You can buy admission tickets to the parks for 10% off at company d only. Buy your sodas/water in merchandise locations. Same goes for baked goods like those from sweet spells in studios it's a candy/baked goods store attached to a merchandise location so your discount will apply.

Your cast discount also applies to locations outside of disney as well such as ihop, the nike outlet, wolfgang puck express, dunkin doughnuts, and at chick fil a on thursdays after 4 you get a free chicken sandwich with the purchase of any meal.
