DCL Transportation and concierge

We have a land/sea pkg booked, and opted for DCL transportation. We did this on our last Disney vacation,and it worked fine. Gpt to port and no crowds, just walked on the ship. We had a cat 11 back then. This time we have a cat 3 midship. I have heard there is a concierge meeting we are supposed to go to. My question is ,what time is this meeting, and will we miss it if we don't get to port before 2:00? Thanks in advance for your help

You'll be fine....you don't have to be exactly on time for the concierge meet. Its a time when you meet the concierge team to go over everything for your cruise. So even if you showed up on time you might have to wait for the concierge team to be free since they can only meet with one/two families at a time.

How exciting to be doing both WDW and DCL right around Christmas.

In my husbands line of work he can't vacation in summer. With our youngest in high school( twins) we can no longer just take any old week we want. Hence we cruise at Christmas. This time we are taking our oldest DD and her DH and the three grandchildren. It is going to be so much fun seeing it all through the eyes of the grandkids.
It's good to know we won't have to change our transportation. I know our twins loved the whole Disney experience the buses gave. Thanks again.
