DCL - rest of 2017?

Interesting that this year's Norway cruise (which we are on) sold out (save concierge) rather quickly. I believe that the big difference was sailing from Dover instead of Copenhagen.

I think someone mentioned once that the Norway cruise from Dover was during British school vacation.

Is it likely for November 13-17th to be black out dates on the Dream, as the Focus on the Family cruise is that week? I was hoping to cruise that week, but don't want to pay Adult prices for my kids (booking through FOTF).

Any word on the Wonder sailing out of Galveston again this fall yet?

Black-out dates would mean you can't use an OBB or placeholder -- or more specifically, you won't get the 10% fare discount or reduced deposit but should get the OBC. If you want to save the OBB/placeholder to take full benefits, you should be able to book directly through DCL for regular pricing (including additional stateroom passengers at lower fare).

However, if it's a chartered cruise, you can't use an OBB or placeholder or book direct through DCL. You'll have to go through the sponsor. I believe this is a bigger question... is that going to be a private charter cruise, or is FOTF just booking a group onto that cruise?

Enjoy your cruise!

Waiting for the EBPC dates. Hopefully end of October. Have a OBB to use. So excited.

I am also hoping for dates for the rest of the year to come out sooner rather then later!

So. I just received an email from Adventures Disney advertising their 2017 line up (which includes the Rhine yada yada) ... Does this mean more 2017 is forthcoming ???? Or am I reading too much into an ad email???

I would assume around May 15th the dates to be out. Either the Tuesday before or the Tuesday after

I'm also waiting for the fall dates, but if the higher prices tend continues, we have our eye on a 10 day Mediterranean Cruise on RCI that we might do instead.

That feels early considering we just got the summer dates a few weeks ago. Last year it was around May 20th, but I think it'll be a couple weeks later than that this year. Guessing last week of may through the first two weeks in June.

Soooooo glad I finally found this thread! I was wondering where everyone went after the summer itinerary announcement. I'm still waiting - apparently for an October 2017 EBPC cruise. After reading the thread, I'm intrigued by all the possible variations. Hawaii sounds like a great substitute! And I'm wondering if they'll change up some of the ports for EBPC since the new canal is in a slightly different location.

Oh, and Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!

It's spring break for kids in England. I wouldn't say it sold out quickly though. They seemed to sell a lot of rooms in the last 6 months. I would assume not having to buy plane tickets would be a selling point for families in England.

Joining the thread as I am also interested in October 2017 sailings.

Decided to book a cruise for September 2017 to celebrate our daughter's 27th Birthday on the Dream!!! :)

The WBPC in 2017 is going to be on the new locks, I think (I'm assuming since the Wonder dry dock/reimagine is in Sept/Oct/Nov of 2016 and will likely make her too big for the old locks; however, they could choose to delay some of the reimagining if the locks look like they are having issues). They didn't change up the ports on the WBPC though. I wish they would stop at Castaway on one of the PC cruises!

From what I can find, the Wonder is due to be in Mazatlan on Oct 11 and 18 2017, and in Grand Cayman on Nov 7 (and I think after too but I can't recall the dates off the top of my head). So I'm guessing the EBPC will be somewhere in between there. I believe the last EBPC that was along those dates was Oct 23-Nov 7.

I am on the Dover cruise and was so happy about not to take a plane... And then discovered the train line to Dover experienced serious damages and my direct train is now replaced by a bus... Fantastic.

Anyone hear anything about dates of 2017 WBTA? I have this years book but have to cancel by 5/20 and would like to book next years and transfer deposit...

So that's what happened. I could have sworn a year ago when I checked the trains there was a direct train from St Pancras to Dover. Now there is only transfers or half train/half bus. I decided to go with a car service. I'm glad I wasn't imaging that.

If you are in London it will still be quicker to do that as their replacement buses are pretty quick (only 20 minute ride). If away from London car might be preferable.
Let me know maybe we will meet there !
