I was just preparing the batter for the chocolate souffle and grabbed the recipe I had printed off the download as it was convenient. THERE IS AN IMPORTANT OMISSION! It reads "Meanwhile , melt the butter and beat with a whisk until it has a smooth pastelike consistency..." You can whisk that butter all day and it is never going to get pastelike unless you ADD the 3 Tbl of cocoa powder and 3 Tbl of flour to the melted butter first. Luckily I've made these lots of times and noticed right away. I didn't want anyone trying it for the first time and pulling their hair out! And of course pass it on to guests who receive the printed recipe card if it is the same on there. I confess I haven't checked yet.

I just double checked the cards that were in our package...they DID correct that to add "Add flour and cocoa to the butter and beat with a whisk until it has smooth, pastelike consistency.

Thanks for the warning, I'm glad we didn't have to write on the nicely printed recipe cards that DCL provided!!!

I'm a little sad that I didn't win it, but, I've already got a 3 night cruise planned later this year, so a 4 day wouldn't really have fit into my vacation schedule anyways!! But, of course if I WON a 4 night cruise, I suppose I would gladly re-arrange my vacation plans!

Just wanted to say Congrats to Cheri for winning the cruise. How exciting...

I looked online to see if there were any parties in my area...and there are 4 in Birmingham....One in CHELSA, AL....not sure if they are a Dis member or not...but that is my town!! It is pretty small...we drove past a house earlier that looked that it was having a party and I joked to DH "I wonder if that is a DCL party!!!"
