DCL On Points And Cash

Do you have to go through Member Services to book a cruise on points and cash? If so, are you losing the special cruise rates, shipboard credits, and special financing offered by the third party Disney Cruise companies?

Yes to all questions and you have to pay a $95 fee.

If you book within 3 days of returning from a cruise, you do get a discount off of the points.

Yes. Since you are using DVC points you must go through DVC. The third-party companies are travel agencies and they are not equipped to handle transactions in DVC points.

As SnowWhite2 said, if you re-book within 3 days of disembarking from your cruise you will be eligible for a discounted rate and any shipboard credits that DCL is offering.
