Semi Formal, Formal and Pirate Night

Can anyone confirm what these are? I thought I'd read they'd tweaked is since the inaugural but am not sure if I have it correct. This is what I have.

Formal - Day 2, at Sea
Pirate - Juneau Day
Semi Formal - Ketchikan Day

OK, I feel like I have done nothing to get ready for this!!!! I did order another battery for my camera and bought another pair of jeans!!!

I am packed and ready to go! I have tried all of the clothes on and they still fit.

Megan may have to have knee surgery hopefully after the cruise. She fell off her shoes and dislocated her knee cap again (softball injury) Greg has told her he would have her off of crutches before the wedding. SHe is freaking. She needs to do it before she is off our insurance.

Yupper that is my understanding as well as far as days go. On Semi formal night they pushed dinner back an extra 15 minutes

Megan may have to have knee surgery hopefully after the cruise. She fell off her shoes and dislocated her knee cap again (softball injury) Greg has told her he would have her off of crutches before the wedding. SHe is freaking. She needs to do it before she is off our insurance.

Thanks! I am glad we will be gone in the next week 1/2. SHe got her brace and says it is hedious and does not go with the oufit she is wearing. TO be 21 and stupid again!

My mother is doing the same thing to me. Saying what are we doing and then questioning. I just laughed and imagined leaving her at the dock as I waved bye.

I finished packing except for the last minute things and ripped the zipper on one suitcase and lost a wheel on the other. I am tossing all of the suit cases we have and getting new ones today and repack everything. DH finally agreed.

High School football starts this Friday. So we will be busy.

Glad you are getting new suitcases! That should fun! Expensive, but fun!

He never wants to go and I usually try to go to at least eight a season. But my stepmom and I convinced him it would be fun so now we are going!

Forecast is crummy this week (or at least weekend) which has me rethinking my packing.

Not that I've actually thought all that much about it yet.

Yes there is a Disney Wonder one and they finished it within the last week or two. There are ones on that wall going all the way back to the 1920's. Mind you most of them (not the Wonder one) are inside the security area for whichever cruise ship is in dock there, so you may not be able to get in close.

Now we did approach, and they wouldn't let us in until we explained why we were there politely. Then they just asked us to wait until the ship there had finished loading up all their excursions and the White Pass rail trains had left. So you may get in there if you're extra nice about it. It was fascinating to see.

Yes we are renting a car and driving the Souern Klondike Highway to Emerald Lake.

I just rented our car yesterday so that at least is set, well that and I downloaded Murray's Guide, still need to send it to my kindle, or did I already? Better check

To day is a special day for our family. Today we will be celebrating Nancy's dad 91st Birthday .
The whole family will be getting together at our oldest sons house for an outside Lobster cookout with clams and corn on the cob. And of course Ice cream and cake.

I am sure he would. There are some brewery's in Vancouver he would also like to try.

There is Alaskan Brewery in Juneau, we are debating a tour, tours are free if you get there on your own or they do run a shuttle from their outlet in downtown Juneau. Info is all on their website.

Thought about checking out Granville in Vancouver, but haven't really heard much feedback on it.

we have a certain craving for frozen bananas...are they available on board?

I think I am officially done shopping for this trip. Sadly, I have some returns to make.

I think my whole family is getting excited. I have been planning this for 2 years and now that we are 2 weeks away they have questions, suggestion and act like we just came up with the idea.

I guess there can be only one obsessive, compulsive planner in the family.

Now to finish up some packing and sewing. Next weekend I want to stay in my night gown and veg.

Aren't they just amazing how they think all this fell into place? LOL! I could go for a weekend in my jammies but we will be at Irish Fair all weekend watching DD dance. The good news is as of right now the temps in MN have dropped significantly so it might not be so sticky hot.

We are staying at the Sheraton Wall Center pre cruise....I don't think anyone else on our cruise is staying there though......if so speak up...lol
