DCL from WDW Transport Question

Hello! Next year my parents and I are doing a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy with a night before at Art of Animation followed by 14 nights at Port Orleans FQ. I just had a question about the bus transportation from WDW to DCL. My mom and I are surprising my stepdad who's never been to a Disney park or anything like that (weird I know) with the cruise so he only thinks we're doing Disney World. Is there a way to prevent the paperwork for luggage and the pickup information from making it to our room when we aren't there so he doesn't see it before we reveal the surprise? We will do the Christmas Party the night before the cruise so we won't be back till late and was hoping maybe I could have the paperwork held at the front desk or something. Hopefully you guys know tips or information on this. This is our first Disney Cruise (have done Royal Caribbean and Carnival before). Thanks in advance!

This may not guarantee it, but... since it is only one night, at checkin (or a bit after go to the front desk and ask for the letter, they should be able to print it for you then (they may ask you to come back a bit later in the day).

I would just talk to the front desk at art of animation. Maybe also call ahead of time so it’s noted twice.
